i was recently playing a more experienced player and somehting came up.

He played legendary battles. I then responded by activating my Kang,Scarlet Centurion to "Negate target effect from a non-ongoing plot twist."

Now he said that i could negate one of the effects i.e either the Attack bonus OR the avengers characters cannot be stunned while team attacking.

Is this right? becuase if it is, it is cruel

well first off, LB only has one effect

one paragraph = one effect.

Is that how it works?

An effect is anything on the chain.
A plot twist creates one effect on the chain.
Even if the plot twist has 5 paragraphs in it, it creates one effect on the chain.
That effect can be targetted by Kang, as long as it comes from a non-ongoing plot twist.

To echo Twanbon:

Leaving aside stuff that may come after an Ongoing symbol, single plot twists only ever generate single effects---multiple paragraphs can mean multiple modifiers, but still all from one effect. (511.1a)

thats what i ment to say, but my mental faculties are not running a peak performance right now. and that leads to me not saying exactly what i mean.
