Meh. A 'non-collectable' card game (aka Board Game) will never draw the interest a CCG does (Blue Moon anyone?).

This time next year, when the game is no longer in production, Top Cow will be calling UDE and begging for an EC or even a full set.

Seriously, of properties not in VS that don't belong to the Big Two's superheroverses, Top Cow has to be somewhere down around number fifteen or so in terms of potential audience attraction.

WOW. Draft in that is gonna SUCK. Every box has the same cards in it so as to fufill the "non-collectable" aspect. Even if you open the 1 copy of the key card for "Deck Type A1" you're gonna get hated out of it and everyone is gonna have a big pile of #### by the time the draft is done. Wow. Horrible.

I kinda like Witchblade though. And Darkness and Magdalena _look_ cool, but I don't know much more about them. That cybercrapola does seem to be the absolute worst case of generic character creation though.

omg, this is hilarious. about three weeks ago at hobby league here in tucson arizona, the owner of the store asked the judge and myself to demo some sort of "non-collectible" card game. or "customizable," it said on the package. jeff (the judge) and i looked at it, and quickly decided, mmmm, no. it just looks a mess, if nothing else. i can't speak to the gameplay, but eee-yuck it LOOKS awful. just sayin'.

Well Authority/Stormwatch would be good stuff.

But honestly, I'm good with a Savage Dragon set! :)
