While I have never espoused this on VSRealms I am actually a published comic book author. I was thinking how unreal it would be for one of my characters to appear on VS cardboard.

Wouldn't it be great if UDE held a contest for one fan created character to appear in VS?

I know they would not be able to appear with the Marvel or DC logos nor could they appear in those sets but man what a dream.

There's alot of "unespoused" stuff like that around here. If you'd like to come a bit more "out of the closet", I'm sure we'd be curious to hear what you've done. It's cool if you don't want to though.

That being said, you'd have to get them included in a Marvel or DC comic to be able to include them in a Marvel or DC set (which would involve a huge amount of patience, organization and industry-friend-favor-calling-in/string-pulling for most of us), or you'd have to release them in a different method - which could get complicated unless you were just putting them as alt-art for a pre-existing card.

So fun ... but realistically difficult.

Unless of course you happen to have a Marvel or DC project at the moment and might be willing to try to push said character through. ;)

Nothing major so far. Most recently I ghosted issue #2 of "CVO: African Blood" for IDW. My script doctoring won't be credited until the TPB though :cry:
