1) Do you still "control" a character if it is already stunned? Will a leader effect or an adjacent effect trigger if the adjacent character is already stunned?
2) My opponent and I each have 2 characters. 1 in Front Row and the other in same column support row. Opponent declares his support row with range who is equipped giving flight to my support row. When do I need to play Meltdown to KO their equipment? Before the attacked is declared legal? What happens if declared legal, then Meltdown? Does the attack still go to conclusion? If not...does the attacker ready?

Will a leader effect or an adjacent effect trigger if the adjacent character is already stunned? you still control an adjacent character, but it cant give any modifiers to it...and maybe that answered that but in dont really know

Sorry for the easy questions.never be afraid to ask...i still do:p
Look at Barnacle (MHG). If an adjacent character is stunned does Barnacle still get his effects? Barnacle gets +1 ATK for each character adjacent to him. The adjacent character is still stunned...and I still control them.
Also on the meltdown....if I don't meltdown until after the attk is declared legal.....you said they lose the modifiers that the equipment gave (from the LIFO chain basically). So if they lose the +2 ATK....why don't they lose the flight as well. Making the attack illegal?

Barnacle still gets +1 ATK for each adjacent character, stunned or not, because it's his own effect. If Barnacle was stunned, then he would not be affecting the adjacent characters anymore.
When you KO the equipment, the character does lose flight. But after the attack is declared legal, legality is never checked again. The attacker can lose flight, the defender can move to the hidden area, etc... once the attack is declared legal, it will resolve completely.
when its declared legal, you loose the arrow (think hawkeye here) even if you take out my flying wing, ive still fired ehh, sounded better in my head butthere ya go, one way to think of it

They both make sense. However...why does one part of the equipment get negated before attack conclusion (the +2 ATK), but the Flight doesn't truly get negated before attack conclusion? It we negate one part of the equipment...why don't all effects get negated. It isn't consistent to negate the +2 ATK before comparing ATK/DEF and yet the attack still goes through even though flight has been removed.
When a superhero takes away the enemy's wings as they are approaching...the enemy can't fly anymore to reach the superhero. The enemy doesn't keep their wings to fly until they land in front of the superhero ready to fight.
basically to use your example, once the attack is declared legal the enemy is assumed to be in the hero's face. Taking away his mode of transport at that point doesn't make much of a difference.

The character does lose flight, he's just already in combat.
He only needed the flight to get over the protector. Once they're in combat, well, he doesn't need to fly over the protector anymore.
