1) Let's say you have in your deck several versions of Batman. If you recruit one version and he gets KO'ed, am I correct in assuming that you're not allowed to recruit any other version of Batman later in the game, including the version KO'ed?


2) I'm unclear on the concealed concept. This is my understanding:
- there are two areas- visible and hidden
- if a character has 'concealed', they must enter the hidden
- any characters in the hidden area cannot be attacked (unless a card says otherwise) but can attack other characters in the visible area
- the hidden area has both front and support rows, but no resource row

For the first question, you may recruit other batmen or even the same version of batman at any time during the game. As far as I can recall, there is only one card (drain essence) that removes a char from the game and keeps you from replaying the same char again.

For the second question, it sound like you have it. The only thing I would clarify is that there is concealed and concealed-optional. Concealed must go in the concealed area and the optional you can play visible or concealed. But once they are in that zone, they stay there unless a card moves them.

Can two characters in the hidden area team attack, or reinforce each other?

1)each time you recruit a character with the same name as one you control, put the old one into the KO pile (which is realy just a little different than KOing it but some people will make a point of it) you can always recruit any character you have enough resource points to recruit even one you found a way to retrieve from the KO pile or had on the board before. But it will alway send the cotrolled one to the KO pile.

2)dead on. though the resource row is the 1 resource row and now concealed or visable. Also some characters have concealed-optional which means you can choose where to place it, on the new cards it will have both symbols lit like the equipments do.

edit: er beat , but yes you can team attack even with concealed and non-concealed characters, but can only reinforce in the same area.
