I know alot of people having have been playing with and against the new Galactus deck and I was looking to tweak it to get it's full possible potential. I have bought 3 of the decks so far so I can mess around with it's structure a bit. How would you tweak it and why? I hope to get some good ideas from my fellow players.
I think that the Worldeaters that give +1 Atk and +1 Def are actually quite essential IMO. I've seen that they on the occasion give the necessary pump to screw a team attack haha.
Otherwise I agree with the post above mine for the most part.
I don't think the Worldeaters are anything to laugh at, they do when you get multiple out. And Negation seems to be worst thing Galactus can do, if all you do is try to stop everything your going to run out of ideas. I think you need the Airwalker and Red Shift, how else do you stop beatdown decks? They attack with a ton of pumps and you just remove yourself from the game and they lose their attack pumps. Airwalker also does something on defense, Frankie doesn't do anything on defense, and only stuns characters across the board so she doesn't clear any characters. I would take out the Morg, Firelord, and some epic plot twists. The epic plot twists don't do anything if you have too many in hand (can only exhaust 1 Galactus a turn)
The thing is the Worldeaters are ONLY good if you get multiples out not to mention the whole sucktacularness of drawing duplicates. I just think you'd be better served by playing negation which can approximate the reason why the +1/+1 machine is good - brickwalling.
Frankie also handles multiple people too.
As for Red Shift, I guess you're right that he fizzles pumps. It just seems like everytime I play Torch is a lot more deadly the Red Shift would be in the same situation.
Again this all goes to trying to even the playing field. I think if you know the decks your playing against, Red Shift could wreck. I mean you know every card in the Galactus deck, why should the raid deck know yours? Frankie is good on offence, I guess she is a lot better now that we know we can team attack, but I have seen 3 drops wreck against galactus, so maybe I'm biased. But the world eaters are good once you get two up, gaining two life or dealing two damage is a lot every turn. You win the game once you get all four out, I have not lost a game where all 4 where running, and it was a slaughter. I would rather try to get locations that do something every turn, than trying to stop 1 effect from 1 of 3 people.
