Those are the first few verses of the song Legends from the Tom Cruise movie in the 80s called Legend (go out and buy this movie if you haven't seen it yet!)

It struck me at the core when I paid attention to the words and realized just how much they cling to the truths many of us are learning in VS even at the time of my writing this.

Vs is a card game, true, but isn't it something more than JUST A CARD GAME? If it were nothing special, why would anybody play it?

This makes it easier for me to conclude that VS is indeed something special, and it is those LEGENDS that make it something amazing. Buidling a team of your favorite heroes and villains to battle an opponent is just simply brilliant! Done well makes it even better. Capturing the use of so many characters powers and abilities and making them work on 2 dimensional card board instead of the much more involved comic book page is also a work of love in and of itself.

This is my formal "Thank You" to those at UDE and the team involved with the production of VS in particular. Thanks for all of the hard work you put in for the game. It doesn't go unnoticed nor unappreciated.

It's a good time of year to make sure that you folks know how important your efforts are to us.
