I've just noticed something interesting about 52 (which someone has probably already pointed out years ago) but I found it quite interesting;
It has a cost of 5 and negates something with cost 2.
5 - 2
5-2
52? Intriguing, no?
It puzzled me at first because the card had seemingly no flavour relating it to the 52 storyline apart from the artwork, then I noticed it contained both the number 5 and the number 2.
When in the design process do you think was decided on? Was it a conscious decision as a concept to put 5 and 2 and design the effect around it; or was it a card that they had already designed the effet for, and just needed two variables and 5 and 2 happened to fit?
