Here's some good news for all of you out there who are still waiting on cards from last year.
Last September (9/19/07), I ordered 1 Sunfire, 1 Rogue, 1 Magneto and 4 X-Men Assembles. I received my Sunfire in late January and the X-Men Assembles the week before MW:LA. My Rogue and Magneto had still been MIA. So on 5/22, I sent an email to [email protected] telling them about my partial order. I got a reply within two days verifying the missing cards and asking for my shipping address. I replied with confirmation on 5/24. On 6/3, I got an email saying they would be sending the replacements out in the next few days. I got the cards over the weekend with a post mark of 6/7.
The interesting part was that it came from the Carlsbad, CA offices instead of the Vegas office the Point Store orders usually come from. It was also hand-addressed, and my cards came in a hard plastic toploader.
So for anyone still waiting, writing a cordial e-mail (make sure to reference your order number) explaining the problem just might work. It did for me.
I have tried this, and still have yet to receive my order from a year ago: WAFF + Doc Ock. I've emailed a helluva lot, I've called on the phone, I've checked my address on their website twice a month...
The customer service people have been nice, they even said they would throw in an extra Doc, but it's been months since then and according to them it should have been here by now. At this point I'd rather have a bunch of different cards that my store hasn't received such as the box with roshambo.
