So, what kind of easter eggs have you guys found in MUN? We already know of:

I found more. If you look at some of the plot twist names, it's a homage to the martial arts movies from the 80s and 90s:

Bloodsport (Van Damme)
Death Warrant (Van Damme)
Hard to Kill (Segal)
Above the Law (Segal)
Out For Justice (Segal)

The Wrong Stuff, and Rogue Squadron the flavor text is Stay on Target (even though that was Gold Leader that said it)

There's the little girl whose quote refers to ET, which is likely taken from the comics, but it is still an ET reference.

The Captain's flavor text "The Captain - His Name is the Captain!" seems like a bit of help from the guys to help you remember to say all his names (including his original)

yeah as soon as I saw Hard To Kill I thought of the Segal movie.

But didn't Captain America beat that name out of him.

Also... all the Nextwave flavor text are references to the Nextwave theme song (the roll call at the end).

So is there a lot of easter eggs in this set?

I thought there would one, or maybe a few but it sounds like there are a lot of different cards.

Both the art and flavor text of "I Got 'Em All!" is taken directly from an issue of Great Lakes Avengers.

I'm thinking the flavor text of "The Raft" is supposed to pay homage to the Nick Cage/Sean Connery movie "The Rock".

there is one "easter egg" alt art with Hulk Smash but i think everyone here means alusions to movies and comics and stuff.

Next set has Gambit legend right? I want to see KINETIC CARD as PT/Equip.

Cable also needs HYPER VIPER BEAM as a recurable plot twist (like Shield Slash).

Agents of H.A.T.E. has nothing to do with Nextwave. [Just how, despite being the "subtitle" for the comic series, Nextwave are not Agents of H.A.T.E. at any point during the series]. Not sure if it was intentional, but it would be nice to think that it is a nonbo in the same way as the subtitle was inaccurate.

I dunno about that, they're debatably still agents of H.A.T.E. for the first few panels of issue 1, until they OFFICIALLY tell Dirk they're leaving.

In an article, it is explained that there are Easter eggs such as art or movie references or something along those lines, more than just alternate art foil cards.
