Well, it has taken quite awhile, but Coliseum of Comics-Kissimmee has finally been able to get it's hands on a Hobby League kit! Every Sunday we hold our normal Hobby League tournaments (usually Golden Age with a Draft at least once a month) from 2:00 PM-6:00 PM, and now I'm proud to announce our first Marquee Tournament:

Sign Ups Start at 12:00 PM, Tournament Begins at 1:00 PM
Cost: $10

Format: Golden Age "Bring Your Own Team" Constructed
All sets are legal for this tournament. Players choose a team, and may only play a deck with cards that reference that team or that do not reference a team at all. Example: "Flying Kick" (Target character gets +3 ATK while attacking this turn and has flight this turn.) may be used in any deck, while "Commanding Nature" (Target X-Men character gets +2 ATK and has flight this turn.) may only be used in an X-Men deck

Prizes:
1st Place: 1 Fin Fang Foom Playmat and 4 Copies of the MUL-007 Hulk, Ultimates Promo Card
2nd-4th Place: 3 Copies of the MUL-009 Juggernaut, Ultimates Promo Card
Participation: 1 Copy of the MUL-008 Iron Man, Ultimates Promo Card and 1 Booster Pack
Additional Booster Packs and Promo Cards will be given out depending on the number of players.

Also, don't forget to show up to regular Hobby League each and every Sunday for even more Promo Cards and prizes!

Only two weeks left until the tournament! Who all thinks they can make it?

Ah James, count me in. Its been awhile. Since you guys got the kits again I will be making an effort to get down there. I moved to the other end of town (near CoolStuff ;) ). A lot farther for me now but for more cards, I think I can work something out. This is Patrick btw.

Hey, yeah, it'll be good to see you again. If you are looking for any cards to borrow/trade for this event (or just for trade in general), let me know and I'll see what I have.

Anyway, for everyone else, only one more week until this event! I'm trying to let the store know an estimate of how many players will show; I'm thinking around 12-14 players. Anyone who can make it please give me a heads up. Also, we'll be trying to start the tournament as close to 1:00 PM as possible since the store closes at 6:00 PM. I talked to one of the employees, through, and it should be ok if we finish up a little bit after (just not too long, you know?). If anyone thinks they might be a little late to the tournament, go ahead a call me on my cell the day of (PM me for my number) and I'll see what I can do. Hope to see as many people there as can make it!
