are the manhunters as a team any good? are they fun to play? use any tricks? expensive? im interested in the team

I team them up with secret society in a mill deck. I don't think they are supposed to be that great in a mono build.

On the upside the cards are crazy cheap, so you could probably build a fun deck for under $20:)

They're not competitive in Golden Age because of powerhouse decks like Crisis Doom or Titans, but they certainly can be fun. I had a roomate who built a manhunter deck that was entirely common except for one uncommon (Birthing Chamber), so they can certainly be built cheaply.

He won hobby league a couple times with it when Green Lantern Corps was a new set. I'm not sure what his build was exactly, but he used the three drops with the two resource point thingy to flood the board (albeit slowly) and the four drop that recruits from the row (sleeper agent?).

It might be a good choice for bring your own team, but I'm not sure if it'll ever be anything but a fun deck.

I started playing when JLA came out so I didn't play against a lot of decks from DGL and since then I have only used them in my mill deck.

When I saw the card below on the point store it really made me want to go back and give them a whirl. Is this card awesome for them or meh?
