So after getting my stuff stolen, I was pretty sure I was going to be out of the game. A few of you on the site have convinced me to keep playing so I am. I have a Hero deck under construction, but I also still had 3 Fabled Ravens left over after the whole ordeal. And after learning that we are getting the rest of Fabled support in HA04, I decided that I will be building this deck. Not 100% sure how to run it, so ideas are appreciated.
This might be my "come back" deck. Since having my collection stolen I have only won like..... 5 games out of 20+. Not normal for me at all. I am still very into the idea of spending my time on my guitar, but I know I would miss the friends who I have spent the last 10 years of my life.
Monsters: 25
2 Goldd, Wu-lord of Dark World
3 Fabled Grimro
3 Fabled Ganashia

1 Morphing Jar
Spells: 9
1 Card Destruction
1 Dark Hole
1 Monster Reborn
1 Mind Control
1 Giant Trunade
1 Scapegoat
3 Pot of Avarice
Traps: 6
3 Beckoning Light
1 Torrential Tribute
1 Mirror Force
1 Call of the Haunted
Extra Deck:
1 Shooting Star Dragon
2 Fabled Leviathan
1 Mist Wurm
2 Stardust Dragon
1 Black Rose Dragon
1 Ancient Sacred Wyvern
1 Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
1 Fabled Ragin
1 Fabled Kudabbi
2 Fabled Unicore
2 Formula Synchron
So far I am having the most trouble with the extra deck. There are some monsters I am not running that I should/could be. Like Armory Arm for Collosal Arm OTK which this deck can pull off easy. I would like 1 more level 6 monster as I know how easy I can go for level 6. I did however keep in Red Nova as I can summon that very easily as well. But that seem like the easiest card to cut right now. And if I cut it, then Red Dragon goes as well.
What type of Fabled are you going for? Obv. not Fabled World. Sync spam? Unicore Control (can negate Counter Traps)? Ragin Turbo? Fabled Plants? Fabled Chaos? Else? I'll need to know that before I can offer suggestions.
Honestly I think Catsith is a side card. Gallabas is NOT needed. Snipe as 1-2. Lurrie is not needed.
Here is a view on the "The Fabled" cards from a guy who's been running Fabled for ages.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
The Fabled Cait Sith - This card is nice. The fact that it's a tuner is kind of added on baggage kind of like Effect Veiler. You really just want it for the discard effect. It adds a destruction effect to anything you discard it for. Karma Cut can be turned into a 2 for 2 etc. etc. It combos well with Fabled Rubyruda, Chawa, and just about everything Fabled. Run 2, we don't have room for 3.
The Fabled Ganeshia - The Fabled all focus on special summoning themselves bar things like Cait sith, Kokkator, Rubyruda. Ganeshia comes into play at 1800 when it's discarded and will remove itself from play when gone from the field. This thing that important is that it's a 3 star non-tuner. This combos well with the tuners. The Fabled Chawa + Ganeshia will make Unicore. Fabled Ganeshia + Cerburrel will make Ragin. Rubyruda + Ganeshia will make 7 stars.
The Fabled Cerburrel - Lurrie in 2 star tuner form. Due to how easily this guy hits the field, you're going to be using him for Synchro bait often, 2 stars at a time. Nothing much other than that. Combos well with decks that run Morphing Jar due to being able to synchro with Morphing Jar for Unicore after using its effect to discard it. Unicore's stun will also be in play immediately due to both players having 5.
The Fabled Pegulssus - Bleck... this special summon can miss the timing. Never a good thing and will only work with Dark World Dealings. The Foolish Burial effect is nice, but this card is too slow for my taste. It's a tuner I guess, but Cait Sith would be better than this thing.
The Fabled Chawa - Well, this is how we're going to get to use Formula Synchro if you ever wanted Shooting Star Dragon on our side fo the field. Chawa's special summon requires you to discard to bring it to the field. this combos well with things that special summon themselves when discarded. Fabled Chawa + Lurrie will bring formula synchron. Discarding Krus for its effect could also bring out a Fabled Ragin or even a dead Unicore (Ganeshia will probably be removed from play so synchro for a new Unicore is impossible)
The Fabled Kokkator - He's Fabled Valkyrus with a few adjustments. He must destroy a monster, and the monster discarded has to be fabled. This discourages Fabled Darkworld. I find that he's a good draw engine when he gets going. Problem is he's only a measly 1700 attack. Urustos (under the right conditions) was at least 1900. Kokkator is able to play mind games though because just leaving him on the field gives the allusion to honest in hand. Either way, he speeds up our deck if you manage to snipe things like tokens or hell, even running into Ryko is alright.
The Fabled Nozoochee - I haven't actually gotten to play with this one until today. From what I can see, under the right conditions, you can get 3 special summons. Nozoochee is like Chawa under the pretense that you discard for a special summon, but he also has the added effect of dragging along a level 2 or lower fabled monster (main reason to run 3 lurrie now). This opens a lot of flexibility among synchros. Discard Cerburrely, special summon Nozoochee, bring along Chawa. Chawa can synchro with another 4 star on the field for Ragin while Cerburrel and Nozochee make your unicore. This guy has potential, but you need 3 cards in hand to make use of him for ultimate perfection
The Fabled Unicore - Tricky son of a ***** to pull off but there's a good few things you can do to make life a little easier. When he's out, generally you want to have 1 less card in your hand by the end of your turn so the first card your opponent plays is void. I mostly go for the unicorn after a Morphing Jar reset and work from there. Honest will also lead to double mind games for this one cause it'll void things like D.D. Warrior Lady and The Six Samurai - Zanji if, after honest, your hands are the same. Also good to void things like Darksouls. Careful how you play this, you'll find yourself setting normal spell cards just to work around the hand.
The Fabled Kudabbi - With my deck, this card does not work well because I try avoiding the 0 hand situation until my opponent is running on 1-2 cards himself. It's alright but I just find it a 4 star beater and will always go for Unicore first.
There's also one more card that came with the Duel Terminal.
Fabled Dianaira - I was iffy about running him at first due to tributing, but when you look at how many things special summon themselves when discarded, you can afford the tribute on that Lurrie or Cerburrel you just discarded. His effect makes plays with Unicore even the more fun, but his effect actually isn't the important part here. The important thing is he's a freaking 2800 hundred for one tribute. He's kind of really intimidating and puts things like Faultrolls to shame. Dianaira is the power for little effort we needed.
Here's a basic skeleton

Non-Fabled cards that can be played:
Gorz the Emissary of Darkness
Chaos Hunter
The Tricky
Super-Nimble Mega Hamster
Snipe Hunter
_______________________
- Stay away from all the "Fabled" cards, aside from those already mentioned above.
- Catsith is compulsory if you play Chaos Hunter. Other than that, best @ 1 or 0.
- 1 or 2 Tricky if you choose to play it. 3 is overkill.
- The deck must play defenses, even though I did not state it in the outline. Warnings, Books, TT, MF, Solemn, BTHs etc, play around with the combinations. Spamming Synchros and backing them up with protection will win you games.
- Honest is garbage mained. You don't use it on the smaller monsters, and your bigger ones tend to get destroyed by effects. Sits on the hand, useless most of the times. Only useful when protecting Unicore. On the other hand, they are good in the side deck. Bring them in against rogue decks that can constantly pump out huge beaters. Like Machina Geartown.
- Nozoochee is best played at 0-1.
- Don't play tribute monsters or I will rage at you -.-
- Dark World Dealings can be really good, or really bad, depending on the build.
- Setting up for Unicore requires much skill. It's not just getting yourself to 1 less card than the opponent. You must set it up such that you are able to punish the opponent for playing around your Unicore. Something like PWWB/MST the crap out of them if they try to set cards.
- Always keep in mind about the Lifepoints. Ancient Sacred Wyvern is your best friend, gives you wins out of nowhere. On the same note, keep in mind about the possibility of your opponent having Warnings/Books. Know when you can simply force out the Warnings/Books and KO your opponent with pure brute force, and when you will be completely screwed if they react to your summon.
- Building the Extra Deck is a pain in the ***. Too many cards that can be played. Basic outline:
3 Fabled Ragin
1 The Fabled Unicore
1 Fabled Leviathan
1 Fabled Valkyrus
1 Ancient Sacred Wyvern
1 Black Rose Dragon
1 Goyo Guardian
1 Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
1 Arcanite Magician (If The Tricky is played)
1 Mist Wurm
I'm going to be building a Fabled World deck, but I'll help as I can.
Here are a few lists that I've found that seem pretty good IMO. I HAVEN'T tested them though. I'm think iof running something like the Fabled World build.

I'm apologise for the massive post (massive on my screen, hence the spoilers) and I hope it helps!
Hey,I'm glad to see you're givin' it another shot!Don't let those morons drive you away!Keep at it!
I haven't had much(any) experience with Fableds,so I'm not really qualified to comment on the deck, but I just wanted to say something somewhat encouraging. XD
The defense part was the thing I was wondering about. I kinda figured it would have to play a little more like Dragunity than Ligthsworn (synchro spam with protection vs fast for the sake of being fast). I'm editing to show what the post gave me an idea for.
I wasn't sure about Fabled Chawa, and then when he mentioned Shooting Star Dragon it made all the sense in the world to me. Forget Red Nova Dragon. Sure getting 2 level 2 tuners in here isn't that hard, or a 3 and 1 for that matter, but I like the idea of using Formula to draw another card as well. So I remade the deck and extra deck to accomodate those. Not saying that will be my final build, but I like it so far. I still don't like the extra deck, but from the sounds of it, it never will really look good.
Goldd found its way into the deck so I can go for Stardust with him and Raven. Then I can just use Chawa and Lurrie for my Formula and presto. I got me a Shooting Star Dragon. Hopefully it works as well as think it could. Beckoning Light is something he really never mentions, but I think that it could make the deck alot more stable in certain situations. I agree about Honest, which is why I took it out. 85% of the time I will have a non-Light synchro on the field and the other 15% that I do, it will be Leviathan who will never need it, Kuddabi who can't be kill anyway if I didn't Honest in my hand, or Unicore which is the only time it will be needed.
