It is nice seeing the Amotep Gunner card (I am an Atlantean fan). I also note that the castle pieces appear to have clix bases, but the miniatures do not. It seems like there will be a lot of different bits and that the components will be of good quality with the use of lots of color. The game appears to have some nice complexity and require that tough decisions be made each turn.

Huh, actually looks like they're reusing more of the original material than I thought. I also see Goldyx, Tovak Wyrmstalker, and Arythea too.

The game's release is planned for mid-November 2011. Note that WizKids plans to release "extensions" set in the Mage Knight world. Kind of exciting.

The graphics on the map tile templates remind me of the ones used in Catan... just smaller scale.

For me, the jury is still out on whether or not I'd buy it. Maybe I'll get it one from my secret Santa for Christmas. ;)

I'd have to wait a few years to play with my son.

The 14+ age on the box sort of concerns me because it might take it out of the realm of a lot of families with younger kids. Then again, I guess it shows the game has a lot of complexity.

For what it's worth, Boardgamegeek never sends out emails unless you specifically turn on a setting to receive emails when you get a private message.

But who knows what kind of marketing situation they have with other online firms? Some sites are very specific on letting a potential member know that the information submitted stays with them and does not get sent on to other online firms. I did not see such a statement when I went there so off I go, back to where I was, with no harm and no foul.

That's just me. You and others can do as you wish.
