I recently got on the online chat and asked some questions about the rules and I wanted someone to give me some backup on the answers I got.
1) Fliers can’t carry other fliers
2) Fliers can only pick up one “friendly figure” per turn. Once they are set down, they do not recieve a token, but are unable to move for the remainder of the turn.
3) Fliers can pull other characters out of a battle without the character breaking away.
4) Once a character is flown, he/she/it cannot be given an action, but does not receive a token.
5) Masters of Evil can both attack and both take tokens, but it only costs one move action.
6) Fliers can end there turn soaring and then can only be attacked by other soaring characters or characters with a ranged combat. WHAT ABOUT CHARACTERS ON ROOF TOPS? They should be able to hit the soaring characters?
7) Soaring characters can’t be attacked by characters on the ground with no ranged attack or without leap climb.
8) Fliers can not soar inside a building.
9) Defense is +1 while in or on hindering terrain. WHAT IF A CHARACTER IS IN THE SAME HINDERING TERRAIN WHILE ATTACKING? What if a character is in a bush and another character is in a different bush? Does the victim of the attack recieve the extra defense?
2)TRUE- This is called NAAT, or No Action After Taxi. Fliers can only pick up one “friendly figure” per turn. Once they are set down, they do not recieve a token, but are unable to move for the remainder of the turn.
3)True, the flown fig does not roll Fliers can pull other characters out of a battle without the character breaking away.
4)[i]True[i] Once a character is flown, he/she/it cannot be given an action, but does not receive a token.
5)True as long as teh MOE figs are ajacent to each other Masters of Evil can both attack and both take tokens, but it only costs one move action.
6) False, soaring mean in the sky not on the same level as the roof, they need to be with in half of thier range as well. WHAT ABOUT CHARACTERS ON ROOF TOPS? They should be able to hit the soaring characters?
7)True Soaring characters can’t be attacked by characters on the ground with no ranged attack or without leap climb.
8) TrueFliers can not soar inside a building.
9) Yes, if the attack passes through hindering or the attacked fig is targeted while in hindering +1 to def What if a character is in a bush and another character is in a different bush? Does the victim of the attack recieve the extra defense? get a rule Book and a 3rd grade reading level and that should take care of your problems

Correct. With the new Indy rules fliers can not be carried by other fliers.

They are unable to be given an action (other than a Free Action) for the remainder of the turn. This means no Move Action, Power Action, Close Combat Action, or Ranged Combat Action. In some scenarios the character may be given a Free Action or a Move Action as a Free Action (as in the case of Mind Control) to move after being carried.

If the flier is not adjacent to an opposing figure they do not have to break away and can pick up an adjacent friendly figure and carry them without them having to break away (because that character isn't the one doing the movement).

No action other than Free Actions.

It only costs your team one action of its allotted actions but it's not labelled a move action. This team ability is currently under review.

A soaring character can also be attacked by an adjacent character with leap/climb but can only affect other soaring characters (not grounded ones and not elevated). This was done for game balancing reasons.

As long as they are in soaring mode and their soaring has not been outwitted then characters without range or leap/climb have no way of hitting them.

Correct.

For ranged attacks if the LOF crosses hindering (even if it's the same hindering terrain the character is standing in) the defense is increase by 1. If the character is standing in a bush they will get the +1 to defense. Keep in mind you don't take into account the square the attacker is standing in (so you can shoot out of the bush edge without penalty).

Thanks Canada Maestro and MattSolo. The reason we are having so much trouble is all the DC and Indy rules that apply towards even the Marvel Heroclix. We only play with Marvel and only buy Marvel, thus we don't have the other rules sets. It's hard to find all the rules in one place also. Oh and we never finished the 3rd grade, so that might be why we've been having so much trouble.
Well then you my universe-ist friend are going to get a nice shot at updated rules with the new Marvel set Universe due out here pretty soon. Along with some updated stats and a new rule book we will see the dawn of a new two figure booster. Don't have the money to keep buying boosters for $7? try half that.
Oh and this only play and buy marvel thing is a major hinderance to your game. Dc has it's good points as well as does Indy. But whatever, it's your money.
Left Wing?
Right Wing?
Doesn't the eagle need both to fly?
Well all your questions have been answered pretty thoroughly, so I have nothing to add there.
But to comment on the "dawn of a new 2-figure booster", just for informational sake, 2-figure boosters have been out since November 2003. So there's nothing really new there. The difference is that the old 2-figure boosters were all Infinity Challenge (including LE's if I remember correctly), while the Universe boosters will be some figures from IC and some from XP. You're better off with just getting a starter for the new rulebook and revised figures.

I'm not sure what you mean here as point 4 doesn't seem to pertain to soaring.
However, if you are looking for Angel to start in soaring and while charging move down to hovering to attack a grounded or elevated character then yes, he can do that. Remember that he has to use one of his movement points to change flight modes.

Well, it depends on what you mean. If you mean can he start at soaring, drop to hovering (for 1 move point) and complete his charge with a close combat attack, yes he can do that. If you mean, can he stay at soaring level and perform a charge, yes, but only if the target is also soaring. If you mean, can he charge a grounded or hovering figure while remaining at soaring level, no, he can't do that.
OK, I need to refresh more and type faster.
