In the Mountains, No One Hears You Scream:
Charge, Flurry. When Wendigo ends his movement, after resolutions he may make a close attack but only to target a character with a Wounded token.
Ancient Mystical Curse:
Colossal Stamina, Steal Energy. When Wendigo uses Steal Energy, he may heal past his starting line.
PAC 2018:
FLURRY CLOSE:
Make up to two close attacks.
STEAL ENERGY
When this character hits and damages one or more opposing characters with a close attack, after resolutions heal this character 1 click.
Team Abilities (TA):
MYSTICS - Each time this character takes damage from an opposing character's attack, after resolutions deal the attacker 1 penetrating damage. Uncopyable.
Rule Book Page 10 (Ver 2018.01):
A triggered effect can trigger multiple times before
resolving, most commonly during an action and involving
after resolutions triggered effects. All of those triggered
effects will resolve separately.
Flurry says “CLOSE: Make up to two close attacks.”
Steal Energy says “When this character hits and
damages one or more opposing characters with a close
attack, after resolutions heal this character 1 click.”
If a character with both powers uses Flurry and hits
with both attacks, Steal Energy triggers twice and both
triggered effects resolve separately after the Flurry
action has resolved.
Scenario:
A 15point Wendigo Uses Flurry with Steal Energy on an Opponent that has the Mystics TA.
Question:
1.) Could I choose to heal Wendigo 2 clicks and then receive 2 clicks of damage due to the Mystics TA resulting in Wendigo staying alive on his 15point 15th click ?

Steal Energy now only triggers one time when Flurry is used BUT Wendigo would still get to use Steal Energy again for the attack that happens after actions resolve
I don't understand how people are STILL not getting the double healing on Flurry...
Because they misapply the "after resolutions heal this character 1 click".
They see it as "you heal once for the action", not for each attack.
Further confusion is because there was a time you could Quake and steal energy for each figure damaged. Now you heal once for the attack of Quake (not the action).
Ergo (in their minds), you only heal one time for the action of Flurry instead of the attack.
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
Colossal Stamina, Steal Energy. When Wendigo uses Steal Energy, he may heal past his starting line.
Scenario:
Wendigo healed past his starting line due to using his Steal Energy and I have a character that can use support.
Question:
Can a character with support heal Wendigo further up ?
(I remember people used to do heal up Vampire characters after their vampire had healed past their starting line. Has that changed with resent rules ?)
Nope. CRS lays it out. Any healing past a starting line counts as "healing past a starting line," even if it doesn't cross a starting line.
So it's steal energy or nothing. (And a note, it's been this was since at least Deadpool, if not earlier)
Great !! Thanks for the answer !!
Yes, I saw the Vampire healing before 2016, but I had not seen or used the "healing past a starting line," for a long time. And this Xmen TAS Phoenix Saga Set has a lot of it.
Hey, don't blame me WK made that rule change awhile ago
The rule change happened with the 2017 revamp... but the effect of SE/Flurry is the same as it's been for over a decade. The only one left is to blame you for either not remembering how it works or misunderstanding the concept and blaming someone else for your lack of understanding.
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????
additional Wendigo question, didn't wanna make a new thread

if a friendly Mole Man mind controls Wendigo, would the second part of this power still come in to play (therefore giving him two attacks?)
