Hello,
I’m reading thought the PAC and Core rule book. Right now, I have 2 basic questions:
1) If a character’s speed is 9. Does that mean they may move up to 9 squares or must they move all 9? I would assume it is “up to”? Like they could just move 3 and stop? But, I didn’t see it explicitly stated anywhere.
2) If a character is adjacent to blocking terrain and can destroy the blocking terrain, if they do so, is that a costed action (do they get an action token)? It says “this isn’t an attack” so I was confused.
CLOSE: If this character’s damage value is 3 or more, destroy an adjacent piece of blocking terrain or KO an object in this square or an adjacent square. (This isn’t an attack.)
CLOSE in all caps mean close combat action which gives your figure an action token.
Wishing for competitive Judge Dredd figures for Modern Age...WizKids are you listening?!?!
There may be reasons you want to do that. Most commonly, Picking up an object is done with a move action. You would still get an action token for moving Zero, and you must also Break away from adjacent characters barring any powers that get around that.

There, fixed it for you. When you move in any way (whether a move action, the movement part of RS/Charge/HSS, or even a free action like Sidestep), you can pick up or put down an object... not just during a MOVE action.
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????
