SENSOR OVERCHARGE
Once per turn when a ship in this area is marked with one of more action tokens it can use Probability Control but only for attacks and only to reroll one die

The question is, "Does ONLY FOR ATTACKS mean that the ship can only PC it's attacks, or it's opponents attacks, or both, or any(multi-player game)?"

In recent sealed STAR TREK TACTICS event, it was ruled to mean any attacks. If I had been the one ruling on this, I would have ruled the same way. As it was, I was able to simply abstain

But, there were many different opinions at the venue, and some heated ones at that (unusual for our group). One point made was a comparison to how the three other similar areas on the map worked, that made self reference seem more the intent for all.

It made me doubt myself a bit. Could I get a few of you smarter folks to weigh in?

The map rules do not specify only for that character's attacks. For an example of that, look up Jet Black.

The ship/character in question cannot use this Probability Control to reroll two dice. It cannot use this Probability Control to reroll breakaways. It says NOTHING in the rules for this map, assuming the text above is correct, that limits it to only the character's controller's turns, so it could use this version of Probability Control on every turn, just like normal Probability Control.

I agree. It just says attacks, so that should include any attacks that can be affected by Prob. But I can see the confusion when there are many hero clixs that specifically say "attacks made by this character or attacks made on this character"

As stated.

There could be some intent on Wizkids part for the PC to be more limited, but as worded the ship with action tokens in that area could use it to re-roll a single die in any attack roll.

If there is intent, then that would have to come from the Wizkids forums.
