My opponent's fig. launches a Flurry Attack and hits my fig. who has the MYSTICS team ability . The Flurry Attack is considered to be two separate attacks , does the attacker get the backlash effect from the MYSTICS team ability two times from their attack ?

Yes, but the question now is does a character take both clicks after the power resolves or after each individual attack deals damage

After both attacks have been resolved:
Quote
MYSTICS - Each time this character takes damage from an opposing character's attack, after resolutions deal the attacker 1 penetrating damage. Uncopyable.
8.1c “After Resolutions” Triggered Effects
Some effects that trigger state that they resolve “after resolutions”. These effects wait for the current action or effect [emphasis mine] in which they were triggered in to fully resolve before they can begin resolving.
(From the comprehensive rules.)
However, wouldn't each close attack have its own resolution, going through all the steps of section 12 (Attack Sequence) of the comprehensive rules? The wording of Mystics, "Each time this character takes damage from an opposing character's attack, after resolutions deal the attacker 1 penetrating damage." certainly seems to support this notion.

Each attack has a resolution, but that's not what "after resolutions" means.

I always though the mystics took effect after the first attack and if the mystics feedback caused the attacker to lose flurry, there wasn't even a 2nd attack but I could be wrong ESPECIALLY considering how many times the rules of this game keep changing.
Maybe I was thinking of a critical miss? I'm almost certain there is a scenario where the flurry can be lost after the first attack.

Both Mystics and Critical Misses previously did not have the “after resolutions” language in them, so they were dealt immediately. I believe they were both updated with the 2017 rules to resolve after resolutions.

Yes. 2017 was the change. Same with Steal Energy. You only heal after resolutions.
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
After resolutions the attacker using Flurry to hit the Mystics TA would get 2 damage .
To be clear, the attacker isn't dealt 2 damage, but is dealt 2 instances of 1 penetrating damage. This matters if the attacker has a power along the lines of "Toughnesss, but can reduce penetrating damage", or if a figure has a power that triggers off of each time someone takes damage, etc.

Thanks for the clarification. I'm an old dog and home player so sometimes old rules stick in my house either because I forget or don't like the new rules. LOL.
