Can a generated character use a Team-Up card?

Example:



Fury rolls that 6, generates Maria Hill. Can Maria come in with her Team-Up Card?

I don't think so. Team-up cards say, "After revealing forces, you may replace character cards with their alternate card." If my understanding is correct generated characters are not part of your force when revealing forces and thus can't have their cards replaced.
