I read a Review of a Con and I read a guy saying that a pulsewave perpled to 5 damage is vicious. I thought you couldn't perplex PW even if you are out of it's range b/c it resets to zero after the PW starts. Was I wrong?
1) Pulse wave ignores all powers inside its range. Powers outside its range are still in effect.
2) When you pulse wave, the damage drops to 1, so perplexing it up beforehand doesn't help...EXCEPT when there is only one target in range, in which case that target takes the full damage.
You set up your Pulse Waver so that only one of your opponent's figures is within half of its range. Line of Sight is irrelevant. There must be only one figure within half of the Pulse Waver's range.
The Perplexers must be outside of the Pulse Wavers halved range, but still within 10 (so they can Perplex up the damage).
The Perplexers Perplex up the Pulse Waver's damage. He declares Pulse Wave. The one figure within the halved range has all of his/her powers and abilities ignored. An attack roll is made. If the roll hits that one figures defense, including hindering terrain bonuses, he takes damage equal to the damage value of the Pulse Waver.
yep it helps thanks guys. After I thought about it for a sec. I realized this on my own. I thought to myself he must have meant that he PW 1 of his enemies figures. LOL
Thaks anyways though~~~
