In a recently posted faq it stated that you must have clear line of sight to the first spot you are placing a barrier token. A friend of mine has interpeted that to mean only the first square you place a barrier token must be within his range and the rest of the tokens can snake out of range as long as only the first token is in range. Is this correct becase this seams like and abuse of the barrier ability? Thank you for your responses.
I can win an argument on any topic, against any opponent. People know this, and steer clear of me at parties. Often, as a sign of their great respect, they don't even invite me.

That is correct, Only one token has to be within your character's range, the remaining can exceed your range as long as they are continuous to each other
HT - you must have LoF to the first square. That is true.
But all of the Barrier you decide to put down MUST be within your range. None may exceed it.
And after the first piece is placed, the remaining Barrier can be out of your LoF.
Under the old rules, this wasn't true. You didn't need LoF and only 1 piece had to be within your range - but not anymore. This was all changed in October.
Hope that helps...
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
