No imp is not activated by masterminded damage. so no roll and the figure getting the damage takes full damage.

That's not accurate. From the FAQ:
When a character with Mastermind deals damage to a friendly adjacent figure, that damage is
not considered an attack, and powers and team abilities that require a character be hit or dealt
damage “by an attack” or “from an attack” do not function against damage dealt through
Mastermind.
This means the damage will not activate Mystics TA nor allow a Super-Senses roll.
However, powers like Toughness, Impervious, and Invulnerability only affect the Damage Dealt. They do not need to be from an 'Attack' to be activated. Therefore, they still reduce Mastermind damage.
Now if the attack was from Psychic Blast or Exploit Weakness - they Mastermind damage still ignores powers that reduce damage - but if not - then Impervious still gets it's roll to absorb and all defensive powers reduce said damage.

Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.

what judge? if i recall correctly, i said you could. i just called it an absorbing roll rather than an avoidance roll.
