Can pulsewave be done at a character's full range if they have LoF to only one person
that is in stealth? I thought they were at a half range penalty? Also don't they have to have a friendly figure around where that stealthed opponents fig is? I know they revised the rules, but I am confused about this. Thanks
It's always half range. The distinction was to damage.
Assume you have 10 veteran moloids and 1 rookie moloid surrounding you all in stealth. You roll a 10 and hit them all. They all get 1 damage.
If you miss the veterans and hit the rookie though, you still ignore the stealth, but also you do your normal damage. Say you're using cyborg thats 3 damage, so the rookie moloid is dead. If there were 2 rookie moloids you'd only do 1 damage to each.
No, having Line of Fire drops the damage to 1 not whether or not you hit more than one target.

I have been told that if Blizzard has LOF to Taskmaster in hindering terran, thus stealthed, so no LOF and can't PW him. Must have someone where Blizzard have LOF to anyone who is NOT in stealth then okay can PW all of them ignoring all their TAs and powers? so is that information accurate?
Blizzard LOF to Taskmaster in Stealth = NO PW.
Blizzard LOF to Wasp and Taskmaster behind her within the range = okay PW both of them with one damage each.
Nope... Pulse Wave ignores all powers and team abilities within the half-range of the attacker. It even ignores figure bases when drawing Lines of Fire.
Blizzard can hit Tasky with PW because PW ignores Tasky's Stealth.
In my day, we didn't have Heroclix. If you were being attacked by Superman with a 3d dumpster, you just had to hope you could outrun him.
Note that Pulse Wave is not ignoring hindering terrain, it is ignoring Stealth which would normally make hindering terrain act as blocking for purposes of LOF.
Why make the distinction? Taskmaster would still receive +1 to his defense for being in hindering terrain.
And in case it isn't painfully obvious, blocking terrain still blocks Pulse Wave.
It might be important to make the distinction here that Pulse Wave does not ignore a Barrier, since it is blocking terrain after it gets put up, and not the power itself.

I've seen people posting here on several occasions that "Since only one fig was in range, I used full damage on Pulse Wave."
Did the option for single target Pulse Wave get nerfed? I thought that you could always make the choice of single target Pulse Wave, regarless of how many figures are in range.
This has been bugging me. Thanks for any answer!
You never got to choose one target or all targets. If there is more than one figure within 1/2 your range, PW affects all of them for 1 click. If there is only one figure, PW affects it for full damage value.
