There is no FAQ entry for diagonally adjacent hindering/blocking terrain. As such, I would say that a character could pass through the corner without stopping.

Just so I understand:
B=Blocking
C=Clear
H= Hindering
BC
CB
I cannot move thru due to it being considered blocking.
HC
CH
have to stop after moving thru due to hindering rule.
If the above two are correct then why would a fig be allowed to move thru and continue with the below situation?

Simply because the blocking and hindering squares are not considered continuous unlike two blocking or two hindering squares which are considered to be "connected".
BC
CC
is just walking around a corner, and
CC
CH
is just walking around a bush (or whatever).
sidebar: For purposes of LOS, the diagonal is considered hindering so maybe they should unify the movement and LOS rules.
