I've not played in a while and just got started back playing again and was wondering :

If you have 3 ranged attacks can you mind control 3 figures or only 1?


If you are going first can you mind control your opponent before they can do anything?
Someone told me that you can't attack or do anything to your opponents figures if they are in their starting area on the first turn. So I'm wanting to make sure if this is true or not. Thanks

You are able to mind control up to (and including) 3 figures.
Take the total points of all figures to determine how much feedback damage your mind controller receives.

I'm not sure if the first turn immunity is still an issue...

If the figure has 3 ranged attacks, yes it can MC 3 different figures.. following of course, all the other rules like LoS and Range value...

You cannot attack anything on the starting area on the first turn.

does it say anywhere in writing that you can't attack an opponent if they haven't gone yet. Because i find that interesting, but i'm sure that my friends won't be me, because they are not smart and haven't read the rule book, and think that i am making up stuff. I had to buy (and wanted to buy) the universe starter so i could have an updated book. gone through some of the parts and highlighted specific areas so they would believe me.

interesting, and thank you. then my friends probably wouldn't be interested in playing that why. they are ruthless when it comes to going after my guys, especially if i haven't even gone yet.
