Just so I'm clear on this.

The newest additions regard the Rule of 3 mainly...so I wanted to be sure I understood it correctly.

Say, I take a RCE attack with Enhancement. That maxes out my +3 to a base Damage #. I can still slap SHIELD next to the RCE'r since SHIELD affects only the damage DEALT, so therefore this is possible?

HSS punching bag. I start one on a fig with 14 D and I successfully hit constantly, the pummelled fig can only go up to 17 D and I'd constantly hit that value alone as soon as it gets to 17 (14 plus Rule of 3), correct?

AFAIK, SHIELD increases Damage Value, so you are maxed out

as for the first part of my question, it's actually somewhat valid. as it says in the latest update, you can pump up a value up to 3, so by using enhancement, that maxes out my +3 to a base 2 damage for RCE. now if i hit my attack, that's damage dealt, then SHIELD kicks in and the latest update says that the rule of 3 doesnt apply to DAMAGE DEALT, so i m starting to think that you can actually slap a SHIELD fig next to someone who's maxed out via Rule of 3...i could use some confirmation on this, though...got a draft coming up and my team is heavy on RCE and i could use some more damage boosters

The Universe PAC specifically says both SHIELD and Enhancement affect Damage Value, not Damage Dealt.

And note that the current FAQ incorrectly refers to Enhancement modifying damage dealt instead of modifying the Damage Value. See the thread called FAQ goof for the mea culpa from WizKids.
