The Universe rule on outwit and perplex states that it is declared "before rolling to hit". The latest FAQ states that these powers "may not be used during another action"
Which definition is the most up to date?
If it is the "roll to hit" defn can Doc Samson can charge Magog, check to see if he fails a KC TA roll and then declare perplex?
A quick mind control query, the universe defn states that the target can be "assigned any action as a free action". Does this mean that if you MC'd Doc Samson you use his perplex?
That's what I thought, the wording of perplex, outwit seemed to be changed back to the indy wording. Pity as I liked the idea of not using perplex until the TA roll has been made.
I have played a game when an opponent failed 3 Danger Girl TA rolls in a row after using charge. Perplex was not used but if it had been wasted as well it would have added insult to injury.
