in tornements how do the judges determent who gets a prize?

1st and 2nd?
1st and fellowship?
or somign thing else?

Depends on the judge. First place always gets the choice of the prizes, but the second one is technically a fellowship prize to be handed out at the judge's discretion. Some do second, some do votes, some just pick. It runs the gamut.

We usually get prize support from our venue. we open the boosters. First place gets their pick between the two LEs, or whatever Unique was pulled from the box. Once the first LE is chosen, the other is immediately picked up and voted on for sportsmanship.

my venue, we just roll for it. so far we haven't had to worry about bad fellowship, so that's the fairest (although, there was a time before i was judge, that i wanted to give it to the new kid..) but rolling for it gives as good as chance as anyone.
