HYPERSONIC SPEED (optional): Choose one of the following: (1) When you give this character a move action, it automatically breaks away and may move through squares adjacent to opposing characters. This character receives one free action during its movement that it may use to make a close combat or ranged combat attack. It can continue to use the rest of its movement after making the attack. (2) Give this character a power action. It may perform a close combat attack as a free action. If the attack is successful, this character may continue to perform close combat attacks as free actions against the same target. Increase the target’s defense value by 1 for each successful attack after the fi rst until the attack ends; for each attack, compare the attack value to the modified defense value. The attack ends when the attacking player declares an end to the attacks or an attack misses. When the attack ends, damage dealt equals the number of successful attacks made by this character with this power action.

BLADES/CLAWS/FANGS (optional): When you give this character a close combat action, if the attack succeeds, roll one six-sided die. The result of the die roll becomes this character’s damage value.
So no, it cannot be done. HSS gives "attacks", whereas BCF requires an "action" to be given.
The reason you can use BCF with Flurry is --

FLURRY (optional): Give this character a close combat action. This character may make two close combat attacks (making two separate attack rolls) against either one target or two targets that are adjacent to this character.
So you are giving the figure a close combat action, and that is what activates BCF.
In my day, we didn't have Heroclix. If you were being attacked by Superman with a 3d dumpster, you just had to hope you could outrun him.
Well, MC is a Power Action that can use a close combat attack. Option 1 of TK is technically a close combat attack from a Power action as well, but it deals no damage, so it's kind of a moot point. Also, CCE is a Power Action that results in a close combat attack.
And BTW, HSS does use an action, it's a Move Action.
I'm guessing if they ever come out with a character with both HSS and BCF on the same click, they will make extra sure to word the rules so that they don't roll a d6 for every successful roll of option 2 of HSS.
