Speed - Sweeping Strike : Give Talos a close combat or ranged combat action. He makes two separate close combat or ranged attacks as free actions (making two separate rolls) against two targets within 4 squares of each other.
Attack - Titanic Strength : Talos can use Super Strength, and before he begins a move as part of a move or power action, give him a heavy object token from outside of the game. Talos can throw any object up to twice his range value (16 squares).
Defense - Blood of Molten Bronze : Damage dealt to Talos is reduced by 1, and he may use the Damage Shield and Toxic Burst feats.
Damage - Tremendous Blow : When Talos succeeds at a ranged or close combat attack against a single target opposing character, after the action is resolved the target is knocked back.
Talos Rules
Talos is a colossal character and is subject to all the rules for such characters in the Heroclix rulebook. In addition to the general rules for colossal characters, the following rules apply specifically to Talos.
General Rules
Talos is governed by the following general rules:
• Talos is not affected by Enhancement, Force Blast, Incapacitate, Mind Control, Outwit, Plasticity, Poison, Psychic Blast, Shape Change, Steal Energy, Support or any team ability or effect that reproduces those powers.
• Talos is not affected by knock back.
• Talos breaks away from other characters automatically. Other characters adjacent to Talos must attempt to break away normally.
• Talos can be attacked by grounded, elevated or soaring characters using close or ranged combat attacks, and it is adjacent to characters in adjacent squares, regardless of elevation.
• Talos cannot be carried.
• Talos cannot be captured.
Actions and Pushing
Talos can be given only one action per turn, regardless of its point value or the build total for the battle.
Talos’ player can push him on any number of successive turns, even if he already has two action tokens on him; Talos will still take pushing damage. If Talos is not given an action on his player’s turn, remove all action tokens from him.
Moving
Talos must begin the game with his base completely in his player’s starting area (or in the case of his use in The Isle of Bronze scenario, where his position is pre-determined). Its base occupies 8 squares on a battle map (2 squares by 4 squares).
Talos moves per the standard rules for colossal grounded characters; he can’t move through indoor blocking terrain. Talos ignores the effects of hindering terrain, elevated terrain and outdoor blocking terrain on movement, though he can’t end an action with his base on and off elevated terrain or blocking terrain.
When moving Talos, choose any square adjacent to him to begin counting movement. Talos must end his movement so that his base rests on one of the squares within its movement range. If Talos moves over or stops on an object token, the object is destroyed.
Attacking
Talos can be adjacent to a maximum of 16 adjacent squares. He can attack and be attacked through any of them. Talos can make a ranged combat attack against any character in range.
Lines of fire drawn to and from Talos are not blocked by standard or giant characters, but they are blocked by colossal figures on the same elevation. Blocking terrain blocks a line of fire drawn to Talos normally.
Talos and other characters on elevated terrain can make ranged combat attacks against each other as if they were on the same terrain level. A soaring character making a ranged combat attack against Talos does not halve its range value.
Multiattack
Talos has the Multiattack Power.
MULTIATTACK [optional] Give this character a power action. It can use two free actions against up to two targets per turn. These free actions may be power actions, close combat actions and ranged combat actions, though free actions gained from this power can’t be used to activate this power. Make an attack roll for each attack, if any. Any damage dealt by one of these attacks is reduced by 1, minimum 1 damage. This power can’t be countered or lost.
