I find blogging in itself interesting. I don't know if this will get attention or not. If you do notice it, and you wonder about something that I do as the RA, I'd be happy to talk about it. For the most part, everything I do is public info and there are a few things that aren't, but I'll just say "NDA applies" to those topics. So lemme know what you want to hear about.

Any idea when we can expect some of the changes/clarifications that were being bandied about after AA (right before WK shut down) that were forum ruled, but never actually made it into the Player's Guide?
Did you manage to save them? Or have they all been lost to the ether and need to be revisited? |

Any such changes are not in my "queue" (unless they are in the document mailed to me by a friend who kept track of some things - I just haven't opened that doc yet). So best I can offer is to add them to the threads here.

Colossal figures need something so that their ability to make ranged attacks are similar to giants.
Replace/Modify - needs clarification that this only takes place when they happen simultaneously. Missing Keyword errata (from a previous version). Also a revised keyword list. Errata to support the Mind Control exceptions that occur for wild card team changing and power cancellation. Clarity on when powers are assumed to be on versus when powers have to be declared. aka the "don't be a dink" rules related to page 15 of the FF rulebook. Can double-based characters be carried? Rulebook doesn't preclude them, but previous rulebooks (before the FF reformat) did. Lunge - can you pick up an object while moving the 2 squares? If you can, what about a scenario where the action (power - close combat expert) would be illegal if he were carrying an object? Outsmart - can this roll be rerolled? I would think not - the card states pretty clearly that it is the character controllers (i.e., players) making the roll, not the characters Stunning Blow - needs to clarify that the unreplaced, unmodified damage value is used. Crisis Trigon's Dopplegangers - since they are destroyed like blocking terrain, would Element Lad or Thor's Mighty Chariot be able to be used to destroy them? Mammoth - is his bonus constant or is it with an attack? If it's a constant, then if he were to replace his AV at the time of the attack, it would override the bonus. |

Perhaps include something about clarifying "ignore" is a specific game term and that if something else just happens to not be affected by something else, that is not Heroclix-defined "ignore".
I am thinking specific about some of the confusion surround Ulik's Strongest of the Rock Trolls and penetrating damage, but there could be other instances, too. |

Re: Printing out Cardboard.
Is this going to extend to the object tokens and Bystander tokens too? Will N/WK be hosting images of past cards for players to print out? Does it have to be an exact printout or will a text printout of the card work? |

Please, please, please revise the keywords list. Current issues include: many non-Mutant mutants, the Justice League of Everywhere, and, well, the many errors and omissions. A revised keyword list for every set (even those with cards, to clarify errata) would be great.

With a new DC starter set coming down the road, means a new rulebook with possible changes. I loved most of the FF rulebook changes, but the one rule that many seemed to disagree on was the change to wildcards. It really makes no sense why they were nerfed to no longer work with SinSyn, Defenders, and FF. It needs to go back to the way it originally was and I think many people would be happy to see this change.

I will stick to one gear until we're moving safely forward, then I'll switch gears...Keyword (errata)
Supernova Thor REV - pls add "Asgardian" to his KW's...(particularly since we have entire set ded to Thor) |

I'll just go ahead and throw out that the duo attack should be changed to multi-attack. To be worth their points, duos need to be able to use their powers.

I'd like to petition to overturn the ruling on skrull emperor needing LOF to all targets of his outwit power. Where the power clearly states they have to be within range and share keyword.
That ruling has always bothered me. |

I would like some clarification on the traits being outwitted debate. The question being the diference between the wording "posseses" and "can use" and if either even matter when it comes to traits.
Thanks! |

With no restriction on playable cards, we desperately need rewordings of previously released feats and bfc's to reflect the current status of gameplay.
This means converting Nova Blast and Haymaker to unavoidable damage as was done to Pounce upon its rerelease. Possibly allowing the modifier from Shellhead to work on Indomitable figures. Clarify whether Giant figures actually do completely ignore opposing characters for movement, or have to break away as normal with a bonus. Change the wording of Stealth to be more like Camoflauge or Submerged. Either of those becomes more 'fair' due to wording. Camo can be seen yet not shot at, and Submerged cannot be seen by anyone, opposing or not. I think it would lessen the Stealth + Deep Shadows abuse, and reduce the questions/arguments about when a character can and cannot be seen due to Stealth being active/inactive. Or at the very least treat the Batman ability as we treat the Superman Enemy ability, where the power granted through the team abiility can be countered. I have played from the beginning and am a little tired of Stealth/Mystic wildcard abuse that has not been addressed since the game's conception. All the changes made to wildcarding have done little to stop the most abused mechanic of all. Please make my Batman Enemy and Sinister Syndicate pieces playable again, and while you're at it fix the Fantastic Four and Injustice League. IL would be immensely more playable as Masters of Evil. They obviously cost the same, so do it. Make 'Replace then Modify' consistent for all aspects of the game, including Defend and B/C/F, as well as the previously mentioned BatEnemies and Sin Syn's. Regeneration should be a minimum of 1. Just to avoid situations where Deadpool or Wolverine are KO'd by pushing in an 'attempt' to Regenerate. Characters with Super Strength should not have to modify their speed values when using the Carry ability. It just doesn't make sense. Make Special Powers with the words 'has <alternate combat symbol>,' non-optional. Choosing when to be a Giant is just silly. Many of these requests are probably out of your jurisdiction, but several possibly are. Whatever your judgement may be, please promote comic accuracy and a fun, balanced game that is open and competitive to all. Thanks Norm, ya got your work cut out for ya |

Indomitable
As mentioned, there are a number of feats where the user is supposed to get 'x pushing damage, regardless of willpower or Team Ability', and because of the wording of 'Indomitable' they are effectively immune to the negative aspects of the feat. Could we please have a clarification on this? Either say that no ruling is required (i.e. 'it is working as intended') or add errata to the wording of these Feats that includes 'Indomitable'. Thanks again. |

That ruling has always bothered me. Agreed. It makes a team of generic Skrulls playable. and I'd like to petition to overturn the rulling of Print and play to FEATs and BFCs to start in HoT, in respect to all people that send money in FEATs and BFCs. I have 3 protected LEs, 3 Warbound LE and 3 Maneuver without speak in all the rest of my FEAT colletion. |

Just for the record, I too have some of these cards that were worth a lot on the secondary market, but because I never planned on geting rid of them, I still consider this rule of Print and Play to be a good thing. I'm glad all players have access to all of the rules in Heroclix. |

Make a clarification on Giants on their breakaway rules.
(another words make it clear they don't need to breakaway from opposing characters. and that the fail to breakaway on a 1 or 2 is when they are forced to roll.) |

When a special power grants a character a damage symbol (Box is granted the giant damage symbol, Harbinger is granted the duo attack symbol, etc.), does it replace the character's base symbol or is it in addition to their base symbol?
Namora's trait makes it seem as though it's in addition to their base symbol, but official rulings are always best to have. |

Batman Alpha Oracle on In Contact With Oracle
Is it allowed? |

Is the format restricted/irrestricted still rules legal?
If the answer is yes. Is restricted still since Supernova and Origins? IŽd really like to have an official word regarding this, specially now that print and play is confirmed retroactive. |
