Yeah yeah, my last entry was hardly positive huh? A well I think i've survived the "Crisis of the Infinite Realms"* rather well. he community is still thriving here, the rampant negativity in the threads is as strong as ever, and the Realms mods are now adored like the demi-gods they wish they were.

Not much is happening in my life to be upset about thankfully. I quit my low wage, low respect job as a grocery store cashier approximately two weeks ago and have been enjoying a relaxing summer since then. I live in a rural area outside the Greater Toronto Area so I'm priveleged in that I can enjoy the space and privacy of living on a farm (apples and strawberries) as well as the concerts, shopping and social life of being near a large city.
After a long gap, I went to a Clix tournament tonight at a local comic store at the mall. We didn't have the best tourn out, only five players including myself. Thankfully these two very nice players came by from...Kingston I think? Anyway they really made it more enjoyable, new play styles are always appreciated. I brought a fairly cheesy team which made me rather upset with myself. It consisted of some three wildcards with 2 outwitters 1 PC 2 TKers 1 medic and batman and Ultimates TA's to share. Thankfully I wont have to feel guilty because my team got slaughtered
. I failed 3 breakaway rolls, 1 kc roll and all of my Super Senses rolls. The only hit I made was rolling a 3 against Scouge by Dr. Strange. How upsetting.
Well thankfully I have a chance to redeem myself by playing in a 600 pointer this wednesday. I'm thinking of using an Indy theme team, possibly Top Cow or 2000AD. I was also thinking Batman Enemy but I think I'd rather save that for post Icons, I'm experienced some very geeky anticipation for the new Ra's Al Ghul and Joker.
