De Perre Tourny May 7th

Saturday was a 1000pts hole in the universe tourny. First let me discribe what hole in the universe is: Every sqaure has a number in it, dice are rolled and that square is marked, if someone is in that square then they are instantly ko'ed. You cannot fly, move or tk someone over that square and more squares keep poping up throughout the match. Here is my team:

We end up playing only 2 rounds because 2 people had to leave for something.

Round 1 Brian
He was playing Rasputin, Amazo, Hellboy, Batman, Lobster Johnson, KC Flash, Jean Grey, Cosmic Boy, Mordu and I think there was someone else but I cannot remember maybe Abomination. I got to go first so I set things up and did some positioning. He tk'ed up Amazo to smash Mr. Terrific and it worked. I tk'ed Powergirl and she charged to smack Batman, Rasputin and Lobster Johnson with quake and for the love of god I missed. I then HSS batman with Black Adam and hit for 5. It was a back and forth battle and I was taking a lot of damage because of Amazo and KC Flash. Ende up getting a quake attack with Powergirl knocking 4 people off of a building and that helped a ton. Black Adam also got a successful attack with a heavy object to help even the odds. Stargirl with Trick Shot was worth her weight in gold and was dismantleing everything. He ended up taking most of my team and if it wasn't for a black hole destroying Flash I would have never won that game. It was definitly fun and different.

Round 2 Adam

Adam had just got a bunch of extras from a friend so he made a team with them. It had Branic 13 Vet, Jessie Quick, Northstar, Black Widow(Ult), Kraven, Mysterio, Dagger, Silver Samurai and a bunch of other small figures. I tk'ed Powergirl for a quake attack on a big group of his figs, the attack was successful but I had misscounted and my other 2 attack figures couldn't reach to back her up so she got destroyed. It took 5 attackers to do it though. Stargirl was worth her weight in gold again and was destroying everything and Hourman was awsome to. Charging around and doing damage. Black Adam had 2 nice attacks but he ended up getting inc'ed to death. Fate did a great job too. The hole in the universe helped a bunch this game and removed 10 figures for me while only destroying about 3 of my more useless figures. It came down to only a couple of figs again but I won.

Tim went 2-0 and had more points so he took first. I'm glad I didn't face his team because he was running Thor(ult), KC Green Lantern, Hal Jordon, Nightcrawler, Jane Foster and some other pain in the butt stuff. Both my cards I tried to use go Ordinary Day'ed out so they didn't matter.

If was fun and different. No tourny next weekend but there will be one at the House of Heroes.
