Cardstock Maps

I just posted pictures of my Cardstock Maps. I really like the way they turned out and it has inspired me to make more theme based maps/cds in the future. This map I call the Steel Mill but is more or less just a factory. I want to start adding new elements to my maps in the form of 3-D objects. I want to make a "molten metal" pit/cauldron type object for this map but I am trying to figure out how to make the round part of it out of cardstock. I will get it in a few tries I am sure. I am not sure what other kinds of objects to add to this map. I know I want to keep it very industrialist and I will probably recreated the Soda Machines for this map to give them a more "dirty" appearence.
