Blade is recovering nicely, but here I am on the next mission. We're en route to the United States of all places. To tell the truth, I don't know what to make of this report that's been handed to me. Apparently a former version of the Avengers has been spotted and we're being sent to assess the situation. We are to ascertain whether or not these "Avengers" are the real deal, or if they are something else....

This may be a mistake. I've decided on my team and removed myself as a player. Reports say the "disturbance" is being caused by none other than Dr. Doom. How can I let my team face this without me being there? I rationalize by thinking Doom isn't foolish enough to do his own dirty work and that it's probably just a bunch of Doombots. Either way, the team is on the way.
