Well I will finally submit a team and see what anyone thinks of it.
88 LE - Daniel Ketch
64 V Johnny Alpha (one of the best TK'ers, 2nd attacker)
29 E Sidewinder (Leadership, Team, Medic Hunter)
32 E Black Cat (Best PC)
34 R Mystique (Team, Perplex, 3rd attacker)
40 R Braniac 5 (Outwit)
12 V Paramedic (support)

I figure to take down Thor I need to hit him for four damage. So out of the four damage monsters I chose Daniel Ketch. Then I threw in all the support powers I thought would work best.
The best Thor Killer is Magog. With 3 perplexes and a dumpster, 1 shot=Dead Thor. For a 300 point game, I'm not sure he'd do so well, considering his high point cost.
Cave Carson KO list: SN Thanos, CA #40 Captain America...
Especially since R Invisible Girl wont be retired yet at many events.

I thought that the Dec 9th date jsut retired CT/XP. A set is not legal until after the Marquee. Since the MM marquee is not unti Weekend of Dec 17-19 the non LE's will not be tournament legal until after the Marquee. Is that not right?
I am going ot keep looking, but I think that is or at least was the case.
Well, the reason CT and Xplosion retire the 9th is because thats when Mutant Mayhem becomes legal.
Sets always have to wait 2 weeks from the first day of release to become legal.
The 9th is exactly 2 weeks after the release of Mutant Mayhem.
So retirement/legal dates have nothing to do with Marquees, really. Its just sometimes Marquees may be be scheduled 2 weeks after the release (its usually closer to 3).
4est, with the Thor Army, why don't you just downgrade the Blackcat to R Destiny, down grade the E Pyro to R Avalanche and fit in a R Black Panther for Outwit?
Besides, in most of the uber armies I've seen your Barrier will just get destroyed leaving Thor exposed(If Thor is on the offensive). I've found that Barrier works best when you are using it to clear or play defensively rather than offensive positioning.
And without outwit, Thor is much more prone to becoming a pincushion. Outwit is pretty much required in a one man army.

But you have to ask yourself if having a longer Barrier range and possible secondary attacker is really worth not having Outwit.

Paramedic E
Petros pimps out the hookers and Destiny makes sure he gets the job done. The he can serve Barrier duty, or juiced up secondary attacker. Thor gets juiced up and takes shots at 2 targets at a time. Mandroid gives a little oomph to Thor's Running Shot.

This is un unresticted team where the hookers have to activate themselves. I suggest moving 2 of them on the first turn. This is pretty much a turtle team that will stay near its starting area, although you can TK Firelord or Hawkeye to have them reach accross the board to hit. Justce takes care of any bricks with damage reducing powers and can also serve as bait.

This team can be extremely powerful, but its also really risky. You are putting all your firepower into a single fig that's rendered worthless after taking 3 clicks of damage. He may have a nice ranged defense, but if Thor gets his attack perplexed up to 15, you are going to lose with this team.
Any thoughts or suggestions to upgrade these armies?
