I am 42. I read and collect comics. I like Star Wars and Star Trek. I watch cartoons and superhero movies. I like Lord of the Rings. I play Heroclix and insist on wearing the dial-turning ring while playing. I play a bunch of other board and card games, and have been known to play D&D. I was in band in high school. I buy action figures for myself. I listen to remixes of video game music. Shall I go on?

The dial turning ring rocks!!! I wear it every game, even though it doesn't work on half of my Clix.
My next door neighbor even painted his dial turning ring to look like the Green Lantern ring.
One night, between games, I was in the restroom. My dial turning ring fell off and I had to reach in and grab it. But damn it, that ring brings me good rolls!
Good Lord, where do I start? First let me say, I'm only 29.
-My Screen Name here as well as other websites is also my license plate
-I keep my Clix collection in many Plano tacklebox trays stuffed into 5 longboxes. They are kept in my living room next to the entertainment center so I have access to them whenever I want to.
-I have a picture frame hanging in my house that is designed lovingly by my brother (TheAvengerThor) to look like a Heroclix dial (It actually turns and has stats!)
-I have a curio cabinet that cost quite a bit of money to display both mine and my wife's 40ish Minibusts and Giant Heroclix.
-I have just about every form of Silver Surfer toy that has ever come out.
-My wife bought me a replica of the Legion flight ring as a wedding present, but it was almost my ACTUAL wedding ring.
-I had to make two seperate trips from my old house to my current house with the Uhaul. Once was for my clothes, furniture, and such. The other was for my comics. The comics took up more room.
-I have dozens of articles of clothing/accessories that are comic related. Dozens of t-shirts, button up shirts, and Spider-man cufflinks.
-prominently displayed on bookshelves are not only Mighty Muggs and Super Hero Squad toys, but also all of the Super Heroine barbies that they've made.
-I actually got my niece to call me "Uncle Surfer" for a short amount of time.
-My Heroclix obsession has caused me to take up a secondary hobby...dice collecting. I feel it is necessary to have a unique set of dice for each theme that I play. I even have custom dice that are solid brass with the Power Cosmic symbols and the Sinestro Corps symbols laser cut into them.
-My two cats are named Phoenix and Harley Quinn.
-I plan vacations and days off around Heroclix and Comic Book activities.
-I have seen, played, and owned almost every comic book movie/game that has come out in the past 10 years.
-I have just recently become an avid Munchkin Player. (I LOVE SUPER MUNCHKIN)
-I own at least two different versions of Monopoly that are based on comics. One is purely Spider-man Monopoly and the other is a totally customizable version that encompasses all of the marvel universe.
-I own every season of Dragonball Z in several formats. American VHS, Japanese VHS, and American DVD.
-I have played Star Trek CCG, Ani-Mayhem, Overpower, Pokemon. I quit all of them before they were officially out of production except for Overpower. I maintained a website based on the game and made homemade cards years beyond the final set, and will STILL bust them out when my brother is in town.
-Every character that is nameable in every video game that I have ever played is named Norrin. Furthermore, when my first male child is born, I nearly have my wife convinced to give him the same name.
-I WRITE COMIC BOOKS!
That should do for now. I'm sure I'll think of more as the thread develops!

That is awesome! Great post. Gotta give you some rep!
One a side note: I have a framed picture of Steve Wozniak in my living room, next to a picture of Dr. Doom.
I have my own personal Aquaman collection and go into a nerd rage when some one talks bad about about him Oh and one time I jumped off a bridge into a river canal (was canoeing with some friends at a camp site) and yelled I AM BATMAN to help cope with my fear of heights.
hmmmmm.... ninja geek.... alas people see me coming a mile away and there is not hesitation; "geek." I think it's the Superman hat that gives it away.....
Yes, but you're a surrealist! I'm a normal guy!
Gil Zoo Crew or bust!
Like Zero described I tend to shock most people when they find out I am of the geek persuasion. I think it has to do with my outward appearence of "anti-geek". I am rather large after all.
Any hoot....I do have all the geek requirements met though.
1. Engineering degree
2. Extensive comic book collection
3. Extensive HeroClix collection
4. Extensive MechWarrior collection
5. Extensive Battletech pewter figurine collection
6. Extensive RPG collection (Shadowrun, multiple D&D versions, Marvel, DC, etc...)
7. Extensive comic figure statue collection
8. Extensive video game collection (to include a Genisis (w/32x), Saturn, Xbox, PS, PS2, Xbox360 and a Wii)
9. Attend multiple "conventions" every year
So...did I make it?
What we do in life echoes in eternity!
