Might as well have an infinity symbol for his attack value against anything he can see to Perplex. Loses a point on comics accuracy from me because he just seems too good. He can plausibly take down a lot of Supermen or the Specter with little help, and he just mops the floor with any Green Lantern out there, hands down. He does struggle a little with swarms, but he's not exactly lacking in the reducers department. Sculpt looks sooooo good...

easily one of the best traits in the game. top 5 probably. must be pushed though, otherwise he will just get smacked past his best clicks. a shame he doesn't start with running shot, but teaming him up with lyssa drak should make up for that. i've noticed a lot of dc characters like to start with phasing, not just the green lanterns in this set, but many in past sets. not sure why this is. marvel gets almost all the up front running shot! oh and one of the best sculpts in the past year.
Sinestro is definitely not without his shortcomings. He only has 8 range and 1 target, his move+attack isn't topdial, his Willpower isn't topdial, and he's quite weak against Stealthy opponents. All that being said, he does have a good amount of reducers, his Psychic Blast is appreciated, he does get Willpower eventually, and most importantly of all, he almost never misses. I wouldn't call him top-tier, but Sinestro is definitely solid.
Maybe I'm being stupid, but why would you want to push him unnecessarily? Sure, it's great that he's so pushable on his top dial, but you give up a click of life to get to Impervious, and since he already has Toughness, that doesn't really gain you anything, unless you're really confident in making those Imp rolls. Think: On his top click, outwit/penetrating hurts him either way. 2 damage will put him on the Imp click for you, no pushing needed. 3+ comes out to the same as having pushed to Imp and failed the roll. Sure, sometimes you'll want to do it, but saying you *have* to push him, I don't understand at all.
Amazing figure. My biggest want from DC75 and he does not dissappoint. Sculpt is incredible. Dial is worth every point. Used him in a 800 pt tournament as a centerpiece to a Sinestro Corps team and he wrecked shop. Superman, Hal Jorden, Thor, Iron Man, doesn't matter.
Being so many points and having leadership (under the new rules) will help the Sinestro Corp a lot in high point games. I'll always be interested in seeing how much havoc he and Superboy Prime can wreak on a 1000 point Sinestro Corp team. I don't have one and can't judge him on playbility, but I've faced him several times and have yet to see him used effectively. (first time he got torn apart by SR Loki, second time he got outwitted and BFC'd to death by Animal Man on a JLI team, third time my opponent just had a very poor rolling game) But that's more a knock on my opponents who used him then the actual figure himself. He looks like he'd be menacing in the right hands, but I don't sweat him.

@Arthur Wynne: Yeah I agree you dont really get much out of pushing him as far as damage reduction since your taking that one damage anyway (outside of getting that tricky d6 roll for Imperv) To me the biggest plus for pushing him is to get off an attack first since he is almost always gonna hit. Pushing him his highly situational (and likely will happen A LOT)... But I never really looked at him as HAVING to be pushed. I didn't know people thought that way about him, thats kind of interesting.
Played him with Sinestro Corps Batman from AA kept them adjacent and kept rolling a 5 or 6 for leadership to clear batman each turn used outwit + Sinestro's perplex SP to destroy any viable threats on the field and hid behind smoke cloud for stealth + Hindered Defense Bonus to decimate my opponent, First time I have used this guy and I am now very glad i have him
5 stars
This figure looks beast. I just bought one off of E-Bay, and I am (impatiently) awaiting his arrival. My one 'complaint' would be that he is a lot of points for 9 clicks of life, but what a 9 clicks it is. Amazing powers set. Terrific numbers. That Trait is awesome. This guy is a tent pole killer, and a tent pole himself. Love me some Sinestro Corps :) I must admit the front click of Toughness does scare me, and when I do get him, the first time I play him, I'll be pushing him to make 2 attacks in a row to get him onto that Impervious click. Very nice sculpt too. All in all, a very solid 4.5 star figure. (I subtracted 1 point from Dial due to shortness for points, and 1 point from Playability due to high point cost)
Trade to Canada. We're friendly, and we love Beavers..........
Truly an incredible figure. Full dial -2 Perplex to an opposing character is way more devastating than I ever thought it would be. Even the high 18-19 defenses crumble to easily hittable numbers. His high attack and Psychic Blast up front means that you can probably get away with putting that Perplex somewhere other than his target, making it a prime power to help out fellow SC Member Arkillo. His Paralizing Fear SP is pretty good as well, as he can token a clix and hit them for a decent amount of damage. He commanded the field well as the leader of my Sinestro Corps team recently, and more importantly, instilled confidence into the piece for me for future use. Worth every point if played properly on ANY click on his dial.
Logan:I'm an X-Man and on 2 Avengers teams.
Mockingbird:How the hell do you do that?
Logan: Multitasking. Its my mutant power. Dont tell anyone.
