-Glock (being able to gain life again puts this back in)
-Good Guys
-Deep Green variants
-X-Statix/VU (Loners United!)
-Kree Press
Others: Fate Squad, Chimp/Light Show
With no Political Pressure, I think Kree has to be right up there. In fact, I'm predicting it to show up a lot at Columbus.
Kree is soo good in silver, GG is also good, deep green is prolly the fav going into the 10k this weekend, maybe we'll see some good heralds make a showing.
I would have to disagree about number 5. AGL wasnt that good this past season in Silver. So unless something major happens I think its going to stay the same.
But i still have a soft spot for chimp faces deck. I think it can be in top 5 if its the right build.
And yeh glock is still good in silver even though it lost cover fires
I dont know about Squad Varient deck because they lost Flamethrower
But as for Deep Green being better than Villains Checkmate. I think that currently Villains Checkmate is better than Deep Green because Deep Green rellies a lot on Merlyn and there are so many hidden hate that its almost certain that he will lose his counter.
secret sauce still packs a decent punch, being able to kill either shyara or ahmed on three, and having a naturally strong end game, but it has serious trouble with burn decks. it's a decent meta call for checkmate and goodguys, and i.g. if anyone bothers to run it (which i think they should) but unfortunately thats about it.
noone expects to see the rock variants there?
also, I'm calling resource row disruption to be the "Multiverse power battery" of this modern. with all these location heavy decks, 321, knights gambit, and the like become veeery useful. it'd be neat to see some sort of rush deck that uses those and saige three drop to lock the stall build out of the game....
downplaying the society is silly, the society runs fine without the fate artifacts. Meltdown cant take away deadshot koing the opposing 3, or lex coming out at 9/9 and up on 4 or the tremendous endgame (grodd, desmond, psycho pirate). I think society has a shot in any format.
Glock is ok but losing cover fire is huge, not sure on this one to be honest.
People are selling heralds short and I'm not sure why. If a heralds deck can stand up to voltage and curve sents what makes people think that silver curve or burn decks can take it down so easily? The only thing that really threatens the heralds in silver is captain marvel, so the question is how much will he see play?
Deep Green tears CVU a new one. It's not even funny, if the deep green player is using Glorious which obv I do its gg. Bizarro never gets to attack. EVER. Then you stall to your 8, i prefer pirate and its over. If you get evens this is as close to 100% win as it can get, and with odds I would say 95% of the time you win. On evens getting to KO their Samsara is also gg becasue the deck loses so much consistency without him. (Unless they top deck like a champ)
is anyone surprised about how many faces builds top 8'ed? I have to say I've always been a big faces fan but did not expect the top 8 to look like that.

i feel the same way. i also like how differant the Faces decks are
