I have vet blizzard... who has AV of 11 and 9 in his first 2 clicks and he can attack 4 turns in a row with pulse wave and running shoot... thanks to his TA... but I can't figure it out how can I cover him... I might place barriers with pyro... but I have to place pyro without making him an easy target... I can cover him with lockjaw too... and maybe outwit some move and shoot powers... or tk...
I think that would be great if I can cover blizzard...
Nanobots on Blizzard will really help him. Then you can pulse wave for much longer. I'd also have a pounce figure handy to hit support after the pulse wave or you could do it in reverse. Hit support with pounce and follow it with pulse wave. Pyro is good for barrier his defense is pretty decent, and Avalanche is good too if you got him. If you don't want to use barrier, any figure can help block if positioned well, Lockjaw is one obvious choice, but a flier or poisoner can do a good job too. The other suggestions concerning BFCs are all good, but one that hasn't been mentioned is Bright Lights. If you're not using stealth of any sort, then it's a good way for your team to get LoF on Sue.
10 range triple arrows and the new MOE team ability means you can just keep hammering and hammering the opposition until they are finished. His attack values are high enough that you need fives and sixes to hit a 19 defense.
Taking Sue out usually requires 2 shots. One to negate the Protected that you should be playing her with, and the other for damage.
I usually try and make sure that I have managed her big damage dealers first: Thing, Human Torch, Iron Fist.
Force Blast is underused and is great!
(Would Sue be able to use Protected to ignore the potential Knockback Damage from a ForceBlast?)
And for Poison, I find I like E Chesire, as she has Poison, 16 DV w/ Combat Reflexes and Stealth to keep her safe.
Every relationship is fundamentally a power struggle, and the individual in power is whoever likes the other person less.

It's funny. In a tourney requiring at least one giant, I wound up pitting my Sue abuse team against the OTHER guy running a Sue team.
His team:
R Awesome Andy
V Cloak
V Mr. Fantastic + BT
E Invisible Girl ct + Protected
E Dr. Midnite
V Human Torch
My team:
E Umbra
LE Sue
LE Drake Burroughs
V Pulsar
LE Ghost Widow
V Rita Farr + Shake Off + Armor Piercing
I won, with my chief edge being Rita's ability to Shake Off and thus ignore the 19 def. I also used GW to threaten Sue and Midnite (but that Sue has Toughness -- oops). Still, GW was safe from Sue thanks to Arachnos and she drew fire from MY Sue and Umbra and the fighters both were Defending.
Bottom line: If yer scared of Sue abuse, play a giant with the apropos feats. Also works well vs. Mystics!
