I guess the baddest nasty tactics is the one Deadman and Apocalypse can pull together in a high point match. Deadman possess an opposing character that cost less than Apocalypse, then Apocalypse trade it for another of your opopnent character (which must cost less than the first one). Deadman come back either at the end of your turn or when your opponent give the possessed character an action, but the trade is done, there's no coming back.
Compel and repeat at will.

I had Proteus feated up, entangle, protected, incontact w oracle, and others
He had Green Lantern and Flash
He took out my zoom and exp paramedic and rookie destiny
I took out his Metallo and Rookie Paramedic. so he began using his hypersonic speed to run away from me. He was on his last three clicks. He wouldn't get close, i would move up and he would run. So i looked down at the points and I was ahead on kill points. So I made it look like i was upset and made him think i lost. I kept following him and he kept running. Then 5 mins to the end of the game i moved away, he kept running assuming i've given up, so when the bell rang i told him good game and that I won. He had a look of smugness that was so funny, when he figured it out that i actually won he began to cry. He shouldn't have ran.
Nightcrawler + Book of Destiny + Flashbang + Nanobots + Pummel + Retaliation + Scatter (126).
Book of Destiny will counter Outwit and PC on an opposing character on your opponent's next turn. Especially nasty for ensuring that attacks made by the Krakoa map or Krakoa the Living Island BFC can't be evaded.
Flashbang grants NC a +2 AV while in hindering when he attacks.
Nanobots will heal NC on any click.
Pummel allows NC to reroll his attack and remain safe from an opponent's Probability Control when he is stealthed (there are exceptions, of course).
Retaliation will possibly deal damage to an attacking character if NC takes damage.
Scatter works similarly to BAMF!, except that up to 3 friendly characters adjacent to NC get to move away after he is attacked.
I think it's not flashbang but ambush that gives +2 when attacking from hindering. And then you lose stealth till the end of the turn.
Not Nightcrawler! He can use stealth, he does not possess stealth. He can use ambush without loosing his stealth....the same can be said for Ms. Skrullvell.
OK, here's one that will gain you no friends, but it sure worked like a charm:
500-point Bizarro tournament tonight, and I used:
The Flashes
Karnilla
Roulette
Advanced Sentinel (150 pt. version)
474 with 26 left over for feats of your choice!
Used objects Turrent, Vine, Flooded Hydrant
Used The Flashes Into the Speed Force power to grab my opponent's highest point figure on the first turn and re-position the objects. Vine goes under Flash, Turrent goes under Karnilla, opponent's character goes right in front of the Sentinel, and the Flashes (now with 19 Defend) stay put right behind the two PC ladies and next to the Sentinel to share the high Defense. Sentinel (who starts with an 11 AV on his last click in this format) then scoops up his dinner (the big gun from the opposing force) to release him/her for double point on the next turn. Flash clears on the second turn, heals with the Vine on his third, clears on his fourth, and goes back for seconds on his fifth click. Sentinel captures his next snack. Repeat until the opposing force is gone (or player throws in the towel and walks off in disgust) and walk away with a very high-point win. Brutal, effective, and offensive to most other players. Had to play this one time, but my conscience won't let me play this again anytime again this year! Probably the judge won't let me play this team again, ever, at this venue.

how did you use "Into The Speed force" on your first turn when it appears on his last click?
I'm going to try a new character association soon : Rogue GSX + Wolverine WoS. The idea is that Rogue can borrow a power from Wolverine while he heals the damage back with his trait. Since he begins the game with Stealth, that should help both of them to come at close range unarmed. Then, once there, Rogue can borrow Leadership from Wolverine and if the rolls are right remove action token from him, letting him act every turn (if all goes well).

If I think someone is playing JSA I will go cypher+nightcrawler+calculator+psylocke+whatever else fits so that I can steal the team ability and set up a one man killbox while cypher perplexes psylocke's attack and nightcrawler bases my whole team, +1 to everyone's defense and I'm at least a 19. Cypher can heal NC with X-Men while Psy goes to town.
If that isn't an option, then Deadpool + Secret Six on top of an open hydrant (hopefully my opponent has a lack of flyers).
