Just a note that I see that my Boss Battle post is way off for the Sinister Six event. I am capturing data this weekend and will revise when I know what I need to know.
So far, I can tell that:
Wave 1 boss is defeated by 5 people defeating both boss pins
Wave 2 boss is defeated by 7 people defeating both boss pins
Wave 3 boss is defeated by 16 people defeating both boss pins
Wave 4 boss is defeated by 25 people defeating both boss pins
Wave 3 boss is defeated by 16 people defeating both boss pins
Wave 4 boss is defeated by 25 people defeating both boss pins
I think the consensus in my alliance seems to be that the Sinister 6 event is easy enough (except Ock) that we're just running through it....though we did do the boss-only thing for rounds 1 and 2.

I agree. I think the Boss-hits per wave are significantly lower (or they are the same, but you are getting about 2 extra bosses per time cycle)
In any case, my alliance is currently in wave 4. If 2 more people do their full-clears in this wave (one has started, I'm waiting for another volunteer) then the rest of us will (probably) do our clears in Wave 5. Considering that I'm usually doing my full clears in Wave 3 ... we are well ahead of schedule.
Sinister Six is definitely easier than the other boss battles, it's possible to get all rewards in the first 24 hours. I think it uses the same point values as all the other boss battles, but since you can hit two boss nodes it finishes a lot faster.

That's what I was thinking, but it's not quite right. If you are playing efficiently (i.e., making sure you can play against a boss before doing your subnode clears) then a normal boss battle means you fight the boss 6 times. With Sinister Six, it means you fight a boss 8 times (not 12). So it would explain if things were 33% faster.
That said, it feels to me like it's faster than that. I can tell you that with my alliance, around halfway through the first time bracket, we are maybe finishing the Wave 3 boss. And right now, I'm waiting for 3 more hits against boss-pairs, and we will actually be in Wave 5. And since this is comparing the same time bracket, there's got to be more to it than the 33% increase. The event is just easier for Alliance progression.
I am not looking forward to the personal progression when I have to face any of those 3 bozos at level 8 to get all of my rewards. Thankfully, my Charlie's Angels team is working but they are pretty low at the moment and so are the sinister six. I will see how long it lasts.

How's your 4* Blade? Of all of the bosses, I find Venom the most challenging, but with Blade, if you build up the reds, you can kill Venom even when invisible.
Carnage is the other beastly one, but the answer to Carnage is "hit him hard, hit him fast" (to which Gritty says "Yes, sir!")

I have a single 4* Blade cover, it's green.

Unlocking rounds sooner also means there's more points on the table. That might explain it. From what I can see of your reports, the number of hits needed in each round seems to be about the same as in regular boss events if I recall those numbers correctly.

Still in round 6 in our alliance
I find that Venom is not too bad. The positive is that you can build up your matches because he will not attack you as he is invisible and gaining those 6 invisibility tiles. If you break any invisibility tiles he will just make more until he hits 6. In the mean time I am the only one breaking tiles building up enough for one big strike before his countdown tiles go off.
Sandman is by far the hardest for me because he reduces so much damage.

Not sure I agree. For Galactus, here are the numbers I have:
Wave 1 boss is defeated by 14 people defeating it
Wave 2 boss is defeated by 19 people defeating it
Wave 3 boss is defeated by 40 people defeating it
Wave 4 boss is defeated by 76 people defeating it
Wave 5 boss is defeated by 122 people defeating it
Wave 6 boss is defeated by 143 people defeating it
Wave 7 boss is defeated by 143 people defeating it
Wave 8 boss is defeated by 131 people defeating it

You may have hard data, but my vague recollections should be respected too!
