I've ran the PD as a team before with varied results. In our area of house rules (no medics, no perplex stacking, no cross universe wildcard, no named dupes) it suffers only to the monster unique/big HSS character.

Here's the team I'm currently working on:

V Science Police x3
V Gotham Undercover x2
V Sgt Rock
LE Cameron Chase
LE Montgomery Kelly
E DEO Agent x3
R Cosmic Boy (no, not PD)
E Batman or Mr. Bones and a R Gotham PD

So, my questions are:

1. How would you improve it?

2. Would you replace Cosmic Boy? With what? Is mobility THAT crucial with a swarm team? What about V Hawkgirl? Another taxi or two?

3. Would you play Bones or Batman. I know Batman is the obvious choice, but Bones can be surprising. Or would you s#### them all for more cops, relying on Chase and Kelly for outwit?

Police Team should be Police only!

Little Sure Shot is invaluable

I would go with Bones

If you go for Gotham Knights that is fine

How about a cross-jurisdiction team? SHIELD and Police together

That way, a Mandroid or two and a couple of SHIELD damage boosters would be nice

And DEOs turn into Medics...

Yeah, I know... cosmic boy is a stretch. Mobility is such a huge problem when your people move 6-7 squares with only a 6" range. I can justify Batman - unfortunately I don't have Matches Malone - but he fits the theme in a way.

Cosmic Boy is a tough replacement. I've considered other taxi methods, but unless I throw in some Sentinel troopes or something, it's difficult. I've even considered someone like Hawkgirl, but again the theme is tough to get around.

I also need to snag little sure shot. The guy rocks!

I've been working on a SHIELD/PD Hybrid, but without using Mandroids. I like Mandroids, but they are expensive for 1 shot pieces. You can't really push them at all. Two or more of them get expensive, too.

does it have to be all pd? seems to me some swat spcialists and snipers from marvel would make a pd team very scary. vet srgt.rock has to be on the team. matches malone would be nice to sneak in as well.
