y in the teen titans tv show is changeling called beast boy????

i need som answers plz ppl!!!!

Because that's his name. He started as Beast Boy, changed his name to Changeling in the mid-eighties, and then changed it back in the early 'naughts. He's currently called Beast Boy in both the Titans cartoon and the Titans comic. His new arch nemesis is now going by the name "Changeling", so it'll probably stick.

i was wondering what the deal was with that
i pull a beast boy, and i didnt even know the titans were in the set, and the dial says changeling....it was a little odd
