i've been out of the game for a while but need to get back heroCRACK. right before i quit, the no attack after taxi deal just started. is this still a real rule? i really hope not. if so, what are the general do's and dont's of NAAT and how are people working with it?
Basically, what I do with taxiing is plan a bit in advance. I bring him up, knowing he won't get to attack until next round, so I only base up figures that already have an action token, forcing them to decide if they want to take a click to push and attack, or deal with me. It works even better if you base up someone that's pushed...hehe
It changed the strategy of Heroclix quite a bit, but it wasn't by any means 'game-breaking' as people thought it would be.
Also, you can carry someone who's pushed or has a token, let them clear, then they're ready to attack again. It just amounts to a slight change of mindset. =)
Basically, a figure cannot perform any non-Free Action after they are carried. Additionally, Flyers cannot carry other figures with the 'wing' symbol next to thier speed (commonly called FCCF-Flyers Cannot Carry Flyers).
I would suggest visiting the WK website and downloading the latest Rulebook and PAC (Marvel Universe) as well as the latest FAQs and boning up on the rules. If you still have questions, then feal free to come here and ask away. I, and many others, will be more than happy to answer any specific questions you may still have.
As for getting arround NAAT, TK seams to be the most popular way of getting around it for now.
