A judge at my local tourney said that during a HSS movement the character can break through a wall (if they have SS) and if they are flying, can continue their movement unhindered by hindering terrain.
Is this correct?
If it is correct, can they also be carrying an object or another character while doing this type of move?

Yep, as long as he deals 3 or more damage to the wall segment.

Yep, they can even carry an object AND another character while doing this, although the object would be destroyed if a close combat attack was used to break the wall segment.

can i use hss with either close combat expert or ranged combat expert?
it says move then in the middle u get a free action.
You don't get a free action in the middle of the HSS option 1 move. You may perform a ranged combat Attack or a close combat Attack AS a free action, which is something totally different.
RCE and CCE would require the expenditure of a Power Action, which you don't have available during HSS/1.

I believe that you can use enhancement/pd/shield during running shot or HSS because the ruling on those abilities allows you to use them during another action. Taxi'ed figures are also not considered off the board because a green lantern carrying 8 figs would not have a line of fire because his own figs are blocking it.
You can use Enhancement and PD in combination with a RS, because a Rs is divided into two parts. First movement and then a Ranged Combat Action as a free action. When you taxi someone while doing a RS you first complete the move part and put down any passengers, thereby placing them back on the board and having them adjacent to the RS figure, i.e. (some of) the requirements for using Enhancement and PD are met (PD also needs LOS to the target).
You cannot use the SHIELD TA if the figure has been carried in that turn, even if it's being carried by the RS figure, since the move part is finished when you put the SHIELD fig down and with the No Action After Taxi rule it can't be given the Power Action needed to activate the TA. You may move adjacent to a SHIELD figure with the move part of your RS and use the TA if the SHIELD fig has not been taxied at all in this turn.
During any taxi movement, figures are considered to be not on the board, i.e. they are not adjacent to the Taxi or anybody else for that matter. The FAQ specifically points out that carried figures are set down at the _end_ of HSS/1, but at that point the action is over and the figure may no longer attack, since the attack has to happen during the movement.
And, yes, Green Lantern can't use RS when carrying 8 other figures, because he has to set them all down, before going on to the attack part of the RS, but by then he won't have any LOS, because all adjacent squares will be occupied by friendly figures.
Just wanted to clarify and hope i didn't forget anything...
Actually, Green Lantern could use RS with 8 figs if he was grounded and fired up onto elevated terrain.
Carried figures ARE considered off the board until movement stops and they must be placed.
Last, the only possible way to use PD/Hydra, SHIELD, or Enhancement with HSS/1 is for the HSS fig to wind up next to a fig (i.e, it did not carry that fig) when the HSS wants to conduct its attack. If the HSS fig wants to benefit from SHIELD adjacency, then that SHIELD fig needs to be able to take a power action under the normal rules.

Before GL can fire he has to stop moving. At that point you determine line of fire. That is why their ability to rearrrange the people they are carrying is so great
As far as SHIELD, what part of No Action After Taxi is unclear?
Please note: If you RS and fire, then you get Police or Enhancement. Why? Because you set them down BEFORE the attack. If you want to use them with HSS you have to stop. This means NO FURTHER MOVEMENT
Trust me on this: When you are carrying a figure, they are considered to be off the board.
It must be because I missed a recent faq or something, but I recall the ruling(from the judges here) that if you used Hypersonic for attack then you could not carry a person. Which faq did this change in?

It changed quite some time ago. At a bare minimum, it changed when Universe came out, but I think it was when Indy came out.
The old rules never really said what option #1 was, move action, close combat action, ranged combat action... so it wasn't clear if you could taxi someone or not. Then they made a FAQs entry stating you couldn't carry someone during the attack. Now however, since HSS option #1 is a move action, you can carry a passenger during your attack.
In my day, we didn't have Heroclix. If you were being attacked by Superman with a 3d dumpster, you just had to hope you could outrun him.
Just to clarify... non flying HSS characters (Flash & Nightcrawler) is still affected by Hindering Terrain, right? (my friend profusely disagrees with me on this one...) ^_^
"I think most will agree that this is, hands-down, one of the most playable and fun HeroClix releases ever. The unknown about Legacy right now is how long it will stand as a great set, and I think it's going to stand for some time..."- BrotherMagneto

I don't think that's quite right. As has been explained repeteadly on other threads the movement and attack portions of the HSS Option 1 are all one Action. To me that means that anyone being taxied is off the board until the entire Action (movement AND attack) is done.
I other words, you can't HSS#1 carrying an Enhancer, Move, set the passenger down then fire and use the Enhancement. You can't set the Enhancer down until AFTER you fire because the attack is part of the Move Action and the Enhancer is off the board until the Move Action ends.

That's right. Smoke Cloud indoors makes Flash unhappy. 8o)

You are correct. Here is a HSS attack with a passenger:
1) Pick up passenger
2) Start moving
3) Attack
4) Finish moving (even if you aren't moving another square)
5) Set passenger down
