I'm just finishing up a trade for one...mainly because I'm a big fan of the Lizard...anyway my question to anyone is...is he worth playing...or just a figure you'd keep for your collection? I will use him for fun games...but aside from that...is there any competitive value in him?

Why he's got outwit, I don't know, exactly. Was there a time when Conners controlled the Lizard form?
Either it was the early Secret Wars version who Curt Conners controlled him, or it's the intelligent Lizard that controlled other reptiles and wanted to wipe humanity off the face of the earth. Though if I were a betting man I'd place my money on the Secret Wars version.
I think the Connors LE is a wonderful piece; quite possibly my newest favorite outwitter! Although I don't get a chance to play in games other than for FUN -gasp!- , he really is a piece that is surprisingly versatile and long-lived (thanks to toughness, leap/climb, and the regen at the end of the dial). He can take a hit from Thor on his first "real" click and survive (even landing on his Regen click).
You can use him as a leap/climbing outwitter, or TK him into the fray to do damage with his b/c/f and outwit. He can also be carried for a while because his Outwit displaces his Battle Fury.
All in all, a lovely little figure for 45 points...
Well...I got him in the mail yesterday...can't wait to give him a try! It should be fun to see someone try and take out this outwitter only to have him regen right back to outwit...that is if my dice aren't out to get me.
