It does not, Hypersonic grants you I.M. double circles with a arrow through them. That allows you to move through squares adjacent to or occupied by opposing characters without stopping.
Correct, so HSS figures can move past and through Magneto regardless of their movement type. But if he somehow got Plasticity, they would be in trouble.
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.

I see, the difference being that if they had I.M. Ignores Characters then they would ignore plasticity as well. Thanks!
Most use IM or IT when referring to the improved movements/targeting (which many of the "ignores" are referring to), but there isn't a replacement game term for it.
The word was used rather loosely in the old language and often misconstrued because of that. Heck, there were 2 or 3 different uses for it with different special pulse waves that ignored friendlies... some wouldn't target them, some wouldn't ignore their powers or some such depending on how it was worded... the rulings that had to be character specific, which just made it confusing even for veteran players so I'm glad they did away with it, personally.
So anyway, in this example, IM: figures (previously "ignores characters" was the shorthand) is now, "This character can move through squares adjacent to or occupied by opposing characters without stopping, and automatically breaks away, even if adjacent to a character that can use Plasticity."
Flyers and HSS have IM: OO> (with the line through it), which is "This character can move through squares adjacent to or occupied by opposing characters without stopping. (Still needs to break away.)"
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????

improved movement characters (white dot with 2 circles and arrow)

I stand corrected.
Through the point about Symbiont still stands.
Controlling the Magnetic Fields: Opposing characters within 4 squares and line of fire consider Magneto adjacent for movement purposes.
If you can minimize the line of fire that Magneto has to your characters you should be able to get adjacent fairly easy. Put Kitty Pryde or another character with flight in front of magneto to block the line of fire and have the rest of you team run up behind your character and get adjacent to Magneto.
