For those not actually watching WWE - they are managing to keep things down production-wise. No audience, 1-2 commenators, 1-2 cameras.
A big part of why Vince has pushed for this is the contracts he signed with Fox guaranteeing x amount of live product per year with only y amount of taped shows. While one would think there would be some wiggle room for a situation like this, you know Vince McMahon isn't going to give up money if he can help it.

My best friend loves wrestling. He's been getting his fill from watching old matches on streaming services (he's been watching a lot of old WCW stuff lately; most recently finishing up Halloween Havoc from 1990, I believe).
I would hope that WWE would just do some quick edits of greatest matches throughout the years and focus on those. Why bring in people to run the risk of COVID when you have, what, over 4 decades of content?
Tell your friend to check out iwtv if they haven't. It's the best streaming service for indy wrestling and my local promotion is on there (black label pro). I'm visible in quite a few of the shows and actually got involved in the main event not all that long ago.

And FL Governor Ron DeSantis is Trump's lap dog, so there you have it.

WWE is not only continuing, they're going back to live shows. AEW taped multiple months of weekly TV and then sent everybody home. WWE is putting on three live shows a week, meaning that people will have to come in to work as many times.
The jurassic express is one of the best things on AEW. Marco was a regular at my local promotion and has been one of my favorites for a couple of years.

He's super likable.
I wish I knew of an easy way to watch AEW (or NJPW or even RoH). Like, Raw and Smackdown are on Hulu. It's like $10 for a month of WWE to watch Wrestlemania once a year if I wanted to.
I don't have and am not interested in getting TNT.
Oh wait. Live.BleacherReport.com is an official AEW partner and has free replays (and $50 PPVs lol not happening) from February forward from AEW. Sweet.
Have PPVs always been ridiculous expensive? Living in Arlington Texas growing up has spoiled me for paying a lot for live sports. Like I could always go to a bar or sports pub to watch any game for pretty cheap or see live in person Rangers games for like $15 if I didn't care about getting good seats. Even Mavs and Stars games can be had for a reasonable rate if you know somebody or get the right promotion.
Several hundred bucks for Cowboys tickets or fifty bucks for something I watch on TV at home one time seems unreasonable by comparison.
You all know that every Wrestlemania is on for free at the WWE app/website during these days of pandemic, right? Now's the time to get all of the wrestling you need....
